Wendy's — Restaurant in Chesterfield

Confusing, frustrating and gross! I saw this sign posted on their front window. It looks to me (and everyone else I've shown it to) that $4 buys you four of the sandwiches pictured. I ordered 8 JBCs for my kids with some other food and the total was higher than expected. I told the cashier that I wanted what the sign says but she said it's for a combo deal. ??? Apparently, instead of four sandwiches you get one sandwich, nuggets, fries and a drink. ??? Where does it say that? She got the shift manager (Ryan) who looked unkempt with a gross beard and no hairnet. Maybe we found the source of the hairball a previous reviewer found in their fries? He was condescending and acted as if everyone should know the sign is advertising a combo. I went ahead and paid and went back to the sign to see if I missed some fine print. Nope. I took the picture and went back around to show Ryan. In the meantime, my kids started eating and found most of the food was cold. He argued with me again and said he wouldn't honor what their sign clearly states. He said I could give the food back for a refund or be on my way. I opted for the refund and went down the street to Steak n Shake. We got more food which was actually hot and, of course, MUCH better for just $3 more. LOL! Never going...

Besides the staff being a little ruff on the drive thru intercom, my past experiences have been tolerable at this specific location. However, today was a little different. I was in the drive thru line for nearly 20 minutes (the line wasn't that long). The lady at the window was fine (neither good nor bad). When I got to work and started to pull my food out of the bag; I noticed that my fries were half way full. I thought, "Maybe they had spilled inside the bag." No! That was NOT the case. Not a single fry was at the bottom of the bag. I'm not asking for a bag full of fries. However, I think filling my fry container up is not too much to ask for when ordering the Cod Sandwich combo. Or any combo for that matter. I tried to call and no one ever answered. It continued to ring until an operator disconnected the call. I give them a 2 star rating because my food was good and the lady at the window wasn't rude, she wasn't the most pleasant either. However, I believe in being fair. My picture is no...

This Wendy's store disappointed me. We went because it was my grandson's 8th birthday 🎂 and it is his favorite restaurant and food. The food was okay, but the manager was being very disrespectful to customers. She even gave me a glare as she went out to go smoke weed for her break. I know this because when we left I could smell it coming out of her car. She told one customer that she couldn't help him with the kiosk machine to make his order (which is what she was instructing all customers to do). Use the kiosk she said. which was located right next to a register where she standing while refusing to help him. There are a lot of people who do not know how to use kiosks. He tried. She was not friendly and clearly she did not want to be at work yesterday. Maybe she was just having an off day but never take it out on customers.
