I used to love this place until about 2 yrs ago. When I ordered a delivery and it took 2 hours to get here the food was cold. The driver at the time delivered to me many times and was always polite and apologetic if he was behind. Which I understand when you have 1 driver. But when I called and spoke to the manager he only offered my 5 dollars off on my next order. I felt that was not right and have not been back since. Food was always awesome! But I felt disrespected being a regular here. So I quit eating here and told a couple close friends cuz I wasn't trying to shame a local business. Well here we are about 2 years later and 1 of the people i told about my experience called me and said I was right because he had waited 2 hours for his delivery smh... Food was usually great just delivery and organization, communication amongst employees does not exist here unfortunately. I wish they could get it together. They could have real potential if owners and management got it together. Just wanted to share because its been years since I have been there and obviously it hasn't changed. I hope they get it together someday i sure would like to have a bomb again. If anything if you choose to eat here I would recommend dine in and maybe you will have better service it has a nice laid back atmosphere. JUST WOULD NOT RECOMMEND...

Tonight I was extremely disappointed in the service. We arrived at 545, ordered and waited. Family came in around 600 and ordered several appetizers and food. 630 the waitress comes to the table to assure us that she checked and our ticket had been put in but they were very busy and the ovens were full. Minutes later the other table gets their appetizers.645 they get their food. Waitress returns to the table to apologize and now states the ticket did not get sent to the back as the paper was out and when they filled it, it went to the front and did not get put in. 710 after they brought the wrong order to table we get our food and other table is finished and leaving. I understand mistakes happen however this was 2 mistakes because it should have been caught the first time. We should have left as my dinner was ruined. This complaint has nothing to do with the food as it is normally good food. This is about service, if u see there is a problem you should stay on top of it not let it go another 30 minutes before checking. It was 735 when we finished and left. I did not ask for anything although the bill came and had discount on it. We tipped 20% on the original price. Not sure I will go...

I give up on Val's. I have ordered from Val's numerous times, and 80% of the time my order is wrong or missing items. Calling is a joke, as the calls rarely get answered. I had to get ahold of someone via FB messenger just to let them know that half my order wasn't delivered. Delivery times are ridiculously long, but that's understandable considering that they can't retain their employees. This is not a COVID issue, as this has been the norm for as long as I can remember. I have been patient and continued to support my local business, but now that I have talked with current and former employees they no longer have my support. I have been a resident of this town for nine years and have talked with some of the kids who work there and used to work there. The kids have very little incentive to be meticulous with the orders, as the morale is low and the pay is even lower. You can even hear the guy in the kitchen barking at the kids when you go in to pick up your food. I guess they think we can't hear them. Please, treat your employees better, be patient when training them, pay them at least minimum wage, and maybe they will get the orders right and have a spring...

Let me say I am now putting this as my favorite restaurant in NWI. The pizza was fabulous. It was like a Schererville Zuni's pizza all over again. The Bomb was an Italian Beef that was so tender and the pocket that was incased around it was a cheesy garlicky goodnes. My friend Melissa had the Traditional Spagoni w/ 2 meatballs. They use angel hair stuffed in a garlic bread pot pie w/ melted cheese on top of 2 meatballs. With their perfect blend of sweet and zesty red sauce its quite delicious. The doughboys were a salty and parmesean cheesy delight. The Peanut Butter Puck was a peanut butter mousse masterpiece. Ariana was tentative and knowledgeable. 5 stars on everything. It reminds me of the 80s and 90s inside. Again you better go check it out. Thanks again staff! ❤️🤍💙✊️

Wow! I have a happy wife because I picked this place.i have to say I'm kind of a pizza snob..We love pizza and Italian food this place was 100% terrific!! spot on! My wife had a salad and that was even more than expected It had pepperoni green and black olives, tomatoes, red onions, mushrooms ,a pepperoncini, bunch of cheese on top and a delicious homemade Italian dressing! Lots of detail for a salad! The pizza at a delicious perfectly cooked thin crust.. Great tasting sauce good amount of toppings and cheese.. And you could even taste extra Italian spices on the pizza which I love! I'm sure the rest of the menu is outstanding too, as we checked out what everybody else ordered! And the service was top notch too! I forced myself to save some for tomorrow's breakfast!

RAW DOUGH. i usually LOVE vals but unfortunately this time i just couldn’t. the food is always good and i’ve always enjoyed coming here over the years and i will continue to do so but please check your food before eating to make sure it’s cooked fully (especially when they are busy). i got a stuffed sandwich as i have in the past but this time there was a pile of raw dough in it. this may look like cheese but i assure you it is raw dough. i specifically ordered no cheese and there was no cheese in it. i’ve worked in food in the past i understand how it is but no matter how busy you are food should be cooked before serving. we don’t need our children and us getting sick.
