Starbucks Coffee Company — Restaurant in Cheyenne

As someone who has worked in the service industry, A LOT, I prefer to tip those who serve me. After ordering my drink, I looked for a tip jar, and noticed there wasn’t one, nor was there an option to tip on the screen. I asked about it, and one of the baristas kindly said “We will get fired if we accept a tip.”

I told her that I can’t support a business that doesn’t value their employees enough to let them accept tips. For the first time (maybe ever at a coffee shop?), I asked for a refund and went on my way. The employees were very very kind and to them, I give 5 stars. We went to the Starbucks inside of this location at 6:20PM this evening, we got in front of the register, the man working at the Starbucks audibly said “Jesus Christ” when he saw us standing to order. This caused us to feel uncomfortable and leave the line. But, at the end of the day, he is working.
