I've been here 3 times and I've always been impressed with the friendly service, great atmosphere, and food and drinks. The first visit was due to a coupon through Chicago Loop Alliance's ACTIVATE, giving my boyfriend and I both a beer, a pizza to share, and 1 hour of ping pong for $10 on a quiet Wednesday evening. I fell in love with the place immediately. The second visit I booked 2 tables for 2 hours and a Games Guru for a birthday party of 10 people on a Friday evening 4 months later. No drink or food packages due to the small number, but the Games Guru experience was phenomenal and I highly recommend. This third visit I was a guest of a university alumni event that booked the private blacklight room (but did not use the blacklights) for about 30-40 people on a Thursday evening. In addition to having 3 table tennis tables for our party, they provided a food and drink package that was amazing: wine, beer, and more than we could eat of food (artisan cheese plate with dried fruits and nuts, fried coconut shrimp, mini tacos, chicken skewers, several vegetarian and meat pizzas, and many desserts - all delicious). Will be back to check out their Brunch. Overall, highly recommend.

Had such a fun time here with my husband! We loved the vibe and the experience overall, and honestly wish there was a place like this back home in Minneapolis. The music was fun and lively, which added a lot to the atmosphere. One thing I wish was advertised more clearly is the option for AI Ping Pong as we definitely would’ve tried it if we had known about it ahead of time since it's unique. It also would’ve been helpful to have boards or signs with pricing and activity options listed, so you know what’s available when you walk in. The main downside was the spacing. Everyone was at ping pong tables right next to each other, and it felt a little cramped, especially since there were plenty of other open tables. We had people from nearby tables constantly hitting balls into our section, sometimes even into others drinks, which got distracting. Spreading groups out more when the space allows would make the experience even better (or have small netting between each table). That said, it was still a really fun outing and something different to do together. We’d definitely go back!

Where do I begin—I was eager to meet two parties at this location since I moved out of state and was back visiting friends and family. My expectations were high given that when I worked in downtown Chicago, our corporate after-parties have taken place here. I no longer believe that the service is of high caliber at Ace Bounce, and I do not recommend it based on my experience yesterday with our service and the leadership position here.

Yesterday, I witnessed the only server, Erica (with the face tattoo), serve two parties that I was present at. With the first group, she was so rude addressing/barking the company’s rules regarding playing ping pong that another employee tried to step up and be very accommodating after. Fortunately, there was good service at the bar but the server seems be a bully to the employees as well.

With the second party, the table was unhappy that Erica never came back around and that she was condescending to one of our party members by rudely stating he looked like a 12-year-old. When we did ask for service, she was very aggressive in her responses. Her demeanor was physically confrontational when it was mentioned that we didn’t get service other than one time. She didn’t respond well to our concerns and blamed us for her lack-of customer service. She looked as if she was struggling to hold herself back from a physical confrontation.

Erica did not display normal behavior. When I addressed the manager, Felicia, about our unfortunate service, she said that her employee operates this way and is sorry for how we feel, but they do not reprimand employees there. Hence, she only condoned her behavior and provided an inauthentic apology after we had already spent hundreds of dollars. When Felicia asked what I wanted from the situation, I said growth from this experience so it won’t happen to other people, but I seriously doubt they care.

Since this is the system by which this business operates, I leave this review for you, the customer, so you can avoid a server that won’t serve and will try to intimidate you along with a manager who will do nothing to alíviate a horrible experience. (When we went to another location to finish our outing, we learned from their staff that AceBounce has now been coined The Dungeon).

P.s. If you want this kind of service, Ed Debevic's would at...

I recently celebrated my 35th birthday at AceBounce in Chicago with a group of around 30-35 friends, and I must say it was an absolutely fantastic experience!

I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone involved in making my birthday celebration so special. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was buzzing with energy, and the service was top-notch.

First and foremost, I want to commend Erika, our waitress, for her exceptional service. She was not only incredibly fast but also remarkably attentive to everyone's orders. I was pleasantly surprised by her efficiency, considering the size of our group. Erika's professionalism truly contributed to the overall enjoyment of the evening.

I also want to express my appreciation for Kate, the manager at AceBounce. Kate went above and beyond to ensure that everything ran smoothly. She was supportive, helpful, and provided excellent customer service throughout the night. Her presence added a level of comfort, making the entire evening seamless.

A special shoutout to Neal, the AceBounce Oracle, who orchestrated the group games that turned out to be the highlight of the night. The unexpected "group games" brought so much joy and excitement to our celebration. Neal's creativity and enthusiasm were infectious, and everyone couldn't stop talking about it the next day. It truly made my day and elevated the experience to a whole new level.

In summary, my experience at AceBounce was a solid 10/10. The combination of outstanding service, engaging activities, and a vibrant atmosphere created unforgettable memories. I look forward to returning soon for another fantastic time.

Thank you again to the entire AceBounce team for making my birthday celebration a night...

When I was here it was absolutely packed! Which I'm pretty sure they weren't following social distancing rules 🤔. Anything for an extra buck I guess. I thought that was a great sign for good service. My brother has been a chef for well over 15 years so I've got a decent idea of what he does and how he works. Now my biggest problem with this place was the kitchen and food, my friends and I were at a ping pong table close to where you could see the kitchen which I always like. However when we ordered food we had no idea it was going to take over an hour to get our order. The best part of all of this was the fact that some lady, who I presume was the "chef" was just standing outside the kitchen where the food comes up and was just telling at the cooks to work faster and talking and joking with servers.. Again, my brother is a chef and I know from him a chef is supposed to support his cooks, not just yell at them. After we got our food, which was mediocre at best I asked to speak to the chef. I always like to talk to the person who came up with the food. When our server went to ask the chef to come to our table she was too preoccupied joking with the staff to talk with us. Any professional who doesn't appreciate their employees or customers doesn't...
