Reasonably priced, nicely decorated place for a brunch or lunch. There was a lot of detail in the decorating and it truly had a farm house feel.
The main reason I am giving three stars was because of the service. We were originally seated upstairs and after ten minutes, no one showed up to give us water or ask for our order. There were about five other groups upstairs. We decided to move downstairs in hopes of faster service.
After a couple of minutes, a waiter did visit our table. I ordered a half salad and half sandwich ($13) and it took over 20 minutes to arrive. There were not that many people and there was no explanation for why it took so long to arrive. No one else at my table ordered food, so they didn't need to wait for everyone's food to be ready.
That all being said, I really enjoyed my salad and sandwich. The roasted beet and farro salad had arugula, spinach, cranberry, crumbled goat cheese and candied pecans topped with apple cider vinaigrette. It was not overly dressed and was a refreshing salad. I ate every crumb. I also had the turkey and aged cheddar sandwich. I was really excited to try the apple and bell pepper jam. I loved it! Sadly, the sandwich did not have that much jam on it and it was unevenly spread. It was the perfect bite when you had all the ingredients and enough jam.
We decided to share a slice of carrot cake ($13). The frosting: cake ratio was perfect. The texture was full of carrot shavings and walnuts. The candied pecans were the bomb and not overly sweet. Even though it is a big slice, I'm not convinced it...

This time, I went with the fettuccine pasta instead of the burger, and it was excellent—full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The customer service has been nothing but incredible, and the staff is truly amazing. I really appreciate the generosity and hospitality, and this experience has completely won me over. Looking forward to my next visit!
Original: I visited Blue Door Farm Stand for lunch today with my sister. It was a last-minute decision, and while the ambiance was cozy, our experience was a bit of a mixed bag. Since there weren’t any regular tables available, we sat at the bar, which worked fine.
I ordered a drink—pretty sure it was called the Bourbon Berry—and it was fantastic! Refreshing and well-balanced, it was definitely the highlight of the meal.
For my entrée, I went with the Farmstand Burger with bacon, egg, and avocado, but unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. The burger was overcooked and dry, and the egg wasn’t runny (which is kind of what I was hoping for). To top it off, they didn’t have BBQ or steak sauce, so I couldn’t salvage it. I barely got through half of the burger.
While I appreciated the friendly waitress and the drinks, I left feeling underwhelmed by the food. I’d be open to trying something else from their menu next time, but I wouldn’t...
Read moreWe were excited to try this new restaurant.. the atmosphere was beautiful, and the staff were friendly. However, the food was, for lack of a better word, bland.
We ordered the burger with everything on it, expecting a well-balanced bite, but instead, we were hit with an overwhelming sourness. There were at least seven slices of dill pickles inside, making the first bite taste like a sandwich soaked in vinegar. On top of that, the patties looked and tasted as if they were steamed, and had no seasoning—no salt, no pepper, nothing. The only redeeming part of the meal was the fries, which was delicious.
When we were asked if we wanted a box to pack the leftover (which was more than have of the meal), we shared our disappointment with the waiter. The manager came over to speak with us but didn’t offer any meaningful resolution.. he asked us if we wanted dessert.. but there was no genuine attempt to ensure a better experience. Instead, they gave us a $7 discount which we left as tip, which felt like a token gesture rather than real customer service. In the end, we left and went to another restaurant, essentially paying for dinner twice.
While the restaurant’s aesthetic is undeniably Instagrammable, food quality and customer care matter just as much. Unfortunately, this place didn’t deliver on either, and we left feeling incredibly...
