The Store — Restaurant in Chicago

I've only been here once, but my first impression is that the room has a really positive vibe (the "purple" one the live music happens in). The bands were good, and there was quite a variety in the style of the acts. I'd definitely return. Parking on Halsted in the section in front will get you a ticket after 9pm, though; It's marked as a taxi stand, but no taxis were there from 9:30pm to 12:30am, so really it's just a city of Chicago parking...

Bartender stole my friend's credit card information and proceeded to use it for hundreds of dollars of fraudulent charges (including tipping himself). The store always seems kind of sad to me, like a too old/couldn't get in/didn't want to wait in line Beaumonts crowd. The only constants here are the dinginess, and the cheap bud lights. Serves it purpose well though, staying open later than everyone else, so in that respect it performs well. Plus, there's a pop-a-shot basketball game...
