Chicago Chinatown Food Court — Restaurant in Chicago

This place is terrible, absolutely worst place to go. Me and my family went last year and no one served us. I don’t know if maybe they were only taking online orders or something they they didn’t even tell us that. But we walked up to a few stands to order food and they would ignore us. At first we thought they were busy so we would wait for like ten minutes but we were the only ones waiting in line and no one greeted us or asked if we would like to order. So they we walked away and went to another stand to see if they would give us some service, but again we were ignored. At the end we just left that place and went to find an actually restaurant. I don’t know if maybe it was because we were Mexican because me and my family watched other people get food while we were ignored. I’ve just never felt so bad in my life, I was questioning everything about myself. Went to 东北人家, the food was good but the pricing is weird. I ordered the pot stickers and on the menu, it’s written $8.99 per order but they charged me for $10 without tax. During the checkout process, I took my cash out to pay and when they saw me taking out cash, they didn’t ring my order into the system. Instead, just telling me the price of the food which became $10. I ordered couple items and all the price they charged me without tax is even higher than what they posted on the menu. Initially, I thought maybe they increase their price but haven’t update their menu in the store yet, so I thought it’s okay. This is a review for Gourmet Duck, the dumpling place on the back wall you may see other reviews for. These are absolutely the best dumplings and potstickers i’ve had and you can see the two ladies working really take their time and make everything fresh! If you come here please be patient, the food may take a few minutes but is well worth the wait. Each time I come to Chinatown I make sure to stop here for food.
