Absolutely horrific. As a old frequent customer, I had a terrible experience with a staff member there who was nothing but rude with me from the start. I had asked for a refund the last time I was there bc I refused to spend money in an unwelcoming establishment. As much as I wouldāve liked to support the business, the staff member was enough for me not to spend anymore of my hard-earned money there. I work within the strip so itās really convenient for me to get a coffee there before or during my breaks. I stopped going there for about 2 months. I went back in today after the farmerās market at 10 am exactly & the same girl was there today on the register. I bought a coffee & when I asked for a single packet of sugar, she was ONCE AGAIN rude! Itās not just me that doesnāt purchase there anymore because of her but also the entire establishment I work at who would rather walk to Target & even Roosevelt train station for their coffee/food on their break & we only get 30 minute breaks! That should say a lot about the kind of staff member this girl is & how absolutely rude she is to the point where all of the staff members in a single establishment refuse to go there. Iād go back to being a frequent if it wasnāt for the horrible customer service but with her being there & meeting my team members & I with a stinky attitude, who would want to spend their money there?! Absolutely not! Iām here to support a Black-owned business, especially of a woman as a lady myself but unfortunately I will not go back if nothing is done about the customer service & especially the girl...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOnly reason for a two star review is that this is a women owned business. Sunday staff on 08/04 were dead and non-interactive. Not an ounce of customer service in the place. Behind the counter was a haphazard workspace. Drinks were thrown together and tasted awful, might be the fact that they were reusing espresso pull glass in between drinks . . . gross. It was used prior to our entry and used for our drinks also mere inches from a hot water dispenser. My iced latte tasted like a breve in the worst way, clear to me on the first sip coffee was not understood in this place. They also use huge cubed ice blocks here, what in the world is that. Go to put my straw in my drink and i can't get it past the huge ice cube. Seems like a scam tactic to occupy 80% of my cup with this huge cube... I don't review often but the disappointment felt in this place forced my hand. represent...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBlack-owned! Nice little coffee shop find in this shopping area close to my hotel. Wish they had higher quality and more expansive menu and location though. They don't have liquid chai concentrate, but they should. I recommend Freehand brand as it's spicier and less sweet and local. Or to make their own similar would be awesome. Also decaf beans would be great for an espresso drink. I ordered a drip decaf as it was the only regular option that I order that they had. It was $3.75 which is a good price though. Not sure the quality of their beans because they don't advertise it well. Staff are super kind and helpful. Recommend if in the area but its not an out of your way coffee shop at the moment. Alsotge place is small so not too good for working as it would get crowded...
