Bad first impression. Can't rate food I never received unfortunately, cause this sandwich shop is slow. Unbelievably slow. Which is sad cause it's a mom and pop small business. The sub making area is small and in the corner so only allows 1 worker to make subs.
The location itself is pretty nice. Very clean and updated cafe style dining area. Parking a bit bad and is street and crowded. Seems to 3 workers, all family.
Considering their downtown and it was 11:40 and around lunchtime, I ordered online and paid the service fee.....so that would give them more time. Text from the online company moves order ready from 12:15 to 12:26. Okay a bit long but hey lunchtime so I understand. Go in waited a bit checked with cashier at 12:30....still not done. 5 mins they say. Now 12:40 still not done. Had to walkout as my lunch is over. Called to cancel my order. 1 hour to not make my sub.
1st impression.....not good. 2 stars cause mom and pop shop and they were at least nice and apologetic about it in shop. I do thinki try them again one more time in case this was a fluke but yeah....not good for office workers with limited...
Read moreIt’s a convenient place to stop for a bite if you are in the area. The shop inside is cool and cozy to sit. The menu has quite the variety. They also have fresh fruit juices and smoothies and a lot of subs varieties. And sandwiches. Also soups. Artisan sandwiches. We had the Ruben and salami sub with chili bowl. The Ruben was good fresh and well made well grilled but slightly too sweet or too sour and the bread was a bit harder than expected. The salami sub was excellent. The chili bowl was ok but really only had few beans in it and mostly just mush and taste was off. Service was great. Would try the other subs as well...
Read moreHarry’s Sandwich is a solid no-frills spot that knows how to do a sandwich right. I spent about $12 on a hot pastrami on rye with a side of chips, and it was exactly what I needed—stacked high with juicy, flavorful pastrami, just the right amount of mustard, and that perfect crunch from the bread. The vibe inside is classic and old-school, nothing fancy, just good food done right. Service was quick and friendly, which is key if you’re grabbing lunch on the go. If you’re downtown and craving a legit, well-made sandwich without the touristy hype, this...
