Kathy De's Deli — Restaurant in Chicago

I was kind of happy that I was able to visit this spot again. The food in here is really good and the prices are very reasonable. When I went in here for the first time, I was like this is definitely one of the good spots in the area and it is still is. It is just basically a small spot that you most likely bumped into and it is located in Hyde Park. They still do not have a parking but there is a street parking that I found just near it. The staffs are so nice and very friendly and most importantly they have a variety of options on their menu. What I like about them is that their food is reasonable and at the same time it is so good. I just order an Italian sub with fries and a cup of coffee. I stayed inside and the atmosphere was really nice. I highly recommend this spot this is just so nice the food is good and they are definitely a spot where you can go if you are in a hurry to grab some food because they make sandwiches or any food in their menu...

Let me start off with saying the vibes were great from all staff to the community that came in and ordered. It reminded me of a community deli back in NYC. All walks of life coming in through this shop. Loved it. My boyfriend and I ordered the Cajun chicken sandwich special and buffalo chicken sandwich. Both great and tastes fresh, and the fries that came with were crispy and tasty. I was also a big fan of thee sweet chocolate chip cookie that was wrapped at the counter. Wish I bought more actually. The place was clean and neat. Decent amount of seating for a small spot, also had a nice patio with seating. We became fans as we were passing through Bridgeport....

Our company gives us free Grubhub if we work in the office. Today I chose Kathy De's Deli. It was a good choice. They packed the order separately, which helps on our end as there are a lot of orders. The packaging was sturdy. I chose the Cheeseburger with provolone. They had a choice of several cheeses, and a cup of soup. The food was still warm. The Cheeseburger was juicey and delicious. The cream of chicken soup was with rice and was very flavorful. I will be ordering from them again. Great food well packaged...
