Oh,How the mighty, mighty "Magnolia's Bakery" has FALLEN‼️From the time they first opened up in the 1990's all the way up until recently (sans my latest visit last week) this bakery was on top of the world so to speak product wise and customer service wise.I saw a new female employee there a few days ago and there is most definitely something about her that's NOT right.I asked her about the cookies that are in the limited edition "Cookies & Cream" limited edition Banana Pudding flavor that she said is coming in August 2025 and she clearly didn't like my question at all, period.I asked her if the "Oreos" was from "Nabisco" and she looked at me like I was an alien species creature. She finally but reluctantly admitted that they are from "Nabisco" but was clearly still deeply disturbed by my question. She obviously doesn't know and clearly doesn't care that I don't eat "GMO" (Genetically Modified Organisms) on purpose. This is the exact same new employee or new face to me that told me the "last" slice of their Lemon Bundt Cake was fresh. After my consciousness was clearly telling me NOT to buy it,I decided to buy it.I ate it a day later and unexpectedly experienced an egg shell sensation while eating the outer part of the slice in multiple bites actually. This exact same new female employee or new to me employee told me that the new muffins I have never seen before were Cappuccino muffins. After finally eating it yesterday,I unexpectedly experienced a deeply strange but queasy feeling in my stomach that I still feel in my stomach right now still a day later after eating the entire muffin. The only other limited edition Banana Pudding flavor that they have that I also will never eat is their so-called "Hazelnut" flavor which is really the extremely popular GMO Spread in your favorite GMO grocery stores better known as "Nutella".Once again,I don't eat GMO flavors on purpose, but this new female employee or a female employee I am finally seeing for the very time clearly has a problem with that very strangely and unfortunately though.I have never seen anything like this as far as one particular employee in what used to be my top favorite bakery of all time.Do to the fact that this is a Chicago business location it really wasn't a matter of if,but when this once great bakery in Chicago was going to Fall Off customer service wise and products wise.Ladies and Gentlemen,"WINTER IS HERE" for this bakery unfortunately.Usually this happens whenever I see new employees in a Chicago business that used to be on top of their game though.I am officially used to seeing this now in Chicago, period. It's a Chicago thing,BUT YOU DON'T...

When this song was released in 1979, some of the radio stations played the standard cut, while some played the extended version including a postscript featuring this interesting monologue. I remember being perplexed by what all of the fuss was about when it came to pudding. I mean, how good could it really be? 🤷♂️
While the English school children portrayed in this song longed for the pudding being offered to them, I can’t imagine that it compared favorably to what is being served at Magnolia Bakery. Those students may have experienced vanilla pudding, but I struggle to believe that theirs was adorned with chocolate cake and chocolate fudge icing (or included roasted strawberries).
“Chocolate Covered Strawberry Pudding” is clearly a secondary school assignment, so I would recommend commencing your pudding education within the primary school setting. Should you receive high enough marks during your “Classic Banana Pudding” course (a creamy creation that includes vanilla wafers and chunks of fresh banana), and with the recommendation of your Headteacher, you may then progress along the pudding path of higher education . 🧑🎓
Regardless of the trajectory of your course of study, be sure to consider auditing their course in “Red Velvet Hot Chocolate.”
Local delivery, catering, and shipping are all available. Still can’t get enough of this stuff? Consider joining their “Pudding of the Month Club” so that their creations can be regularly delivered to your doorstep.
And that’s…Henry’s Take.
