Think of the most beautiful bouquet of spices and seasonings wafting out to greet you as soon as you walk in. Inviting you to take on the menu. The biggest struggle is deciding on what you'll order. Imagine Chipotle meshing with your favorite Indian restaurant. This is Mazala Pizza... and more!

We all opted for different items. Some Naan nibbles and masala fries to share. The pillowy Naan with the zing of the sauce started off on a great note. The sprinkle of seasonings was the perfect amount as we dove into our other entrees.

A snappy crust and dualing sauce drizzles were what awaited me on my pizza. Chicken Tikka hit with bright spices and crisp crust. I may opt for extra chicken in the future. Just because of its flavor, there were ample toppings to enjoy.

Two burritos for the guys. A plentiful helping of all ingredients where nestled inside, warm, and pops of fresh veggies. The Paneer was the hottest of the bunch, but if it is too hot for you, wash down the heat with a Mango Lasse. It was like liquid sunshine. As if a fresh mango was placed inside and waiting for you!

The fries... I haven't forgotten about those. They were topped with another spice blend. Imagine Indian spices meet Old Bay, and they danced all over the crispy fries, and we opted for an assortment of sauces. The garlic was a cooling pairing, the moti was a hint of heat, the firecracker brought some zing, tomato and sweet heat and of course some Tikka too! I can imagine going back just for the fries alone! Well, who are we kidding, we couldn't stop at just fries!

And to end the gluttony, in all the best ways, a little dessert to share of tiny pancakes! Even with all the sweetness, which we felt like Buddy the Elf eating them, you could taste the buttermilk and homemade lightness of the pancakes. Little mini m&m's, melting in your mouth. Can I transport them to me now?!?

We may have to see who gets to the remaining two slices of pizza in the fridge today! The owner was delightful to speak to. You can feel the passion, and he was helpful in our navigation of our choices! We will be back! And a location is heading to Naperville, too?!? Can you head closer to Frankfort next?

Stop in, you won't be disappointed, and you'll have a new favorite place in...

I don’t know what the fuss is all about? The food was mediocre at the best and the service was atrocious. Don’t even get me started on the food prices. I get we are in downtown and the location begets pricey food, but for a cafe with zero service and taste value, I rather eat in a nice sit down restaurant. On a rainy summer Thursday evening at 7, the place was packed and we were sitted outside. The ordering experience was okay, since the menu online did not match the menu in the cafe. We had ordered Vada Pav at 5.99 which came fairly quickly and was one of the saving graces from all the items we ordered. Next up was the Samosa chat at 9.99 was cold and had become gooey since they left it by the counter and till we went to check on it was out for a while. The meethi or tikhi chutney was hardly added and the onions seemed stale and stank. We could not even finish it. Our hopes were now set to the Paneer Pizza at 18.99 and we eagerly waited, which the server promised she would deliver to us. Nonetheless that did not happen and we had to go get it from the counter. It looked nice and we took a bite and something seemed off. I dug out a piece of paneer and dissected it with a fork and lo and behold it was chicken. We had waited for an hour to eat a pizza which had chicken pieces in it. To say we were mad is an understatement as we are vegetarians and being a desi restaurant at least they could get that right. It was very frustrating and we were still waiting for the masala fries, which again was left lingering out in the counter. The masala fries were a joke at 5.99, they were just put in a take out box and instead of ketchup it was some desi sauce. We did not even end up eating it. Well, anyways the things that put end to the disastrous dinner was the moti cafe cakes, we ordered the Nutella Strawberry and they were delicious. Hence the two stars, one for the cada Pav and one for the dessert. I rarely write reviews but the chicken pizza has gotten me really mad and have nothing but an...

Moti, a culinary haven tucked away in the heart of the city, left me spellbound with its exceptional flavors and inviting ambiance. I had the pleasure of savoring their delightful creations, and I wholeheartedly recommend multiple visits to this excellent establishment.

The tikka momos at Moti were a revelation for my taste buds. Each bite was bursting with succulent flavors, perfectly complemented by their special sauce. The combination was simply divine, leaving me craving more long after the plate was empty.

One dish that stood out was their loaded French fries, generously sprinkled with their homemade masala. The medley of flavors and textures was a true treat for the senses. It was a plate of fries unlike any other, and I found myself relishing every mouthful.

The Channa bowl at Moti deserves special mention for its delectable taste. The blend of spices infused the chickpeas with a rich and aromatic flavor, creating a truly satisfying and wholesome experience. It was a delightful vegetarian option that showcased the chef's expertise in creating dishes that leave a lasting impression.

If you're a fan of fusion cuisine, the Paneer Tikka Pizza is an absolute must-try at Moti. This delectable creation took the traditional pizza to new heights with its generous topping of paneer tikka. The flavors melded together perfectly, and the pizza disappeared from our plates within minutes. It was a true testament to the outstanding quality and taste that Moti consistently delivers.

Overall, Moti has established itself as a culinary gem, showcasing a diverse menu of mouthwatering delights. From the tantalizing tikka momos to the loaded French fries with their irresistible masala, and the unforgettable Channa bowl, each dish was a testament to the chef's culinary prowess. The Paneer Tikka Pizza was a standout, leaving us craving more. With its excellent offerings and warm ambiance, Moti has won my heart, and I wholeheartedly recommend multiple visits to indulge in their...

I want to give this restaurant far below rating as it doesn’t deserve anything. I bought 2 snacks and a paneer tikka pizza and a vada pav. I had stopped buying from the restaurant as there taste , service and quality of food were going severely down and prices of there food were becoming super expensive and now the stuff I am getting is not even legal. I am attaching the photo of their snack which is expired and when ate one of them . I felt they are not good but I forgot to check the date but the second I immediately checked because I was feeling something off and apparently this is a sticker on the original expiry date which might further earlier in time. I would attach it too if I could successfully remove the sticker from of them. Update - I went to the restaurant to show them that they are selling expired products so the person there started making excuses about it that it is December we can sell by December and never apologized for it and made more excuses that he is not making them just selling a product which sells for 30 cents in India for 3 dollars. He said what do I need instead of being reasonable and admitting the mistake. Tbh after him not apologizing and telling me what do I need in return. I just said remove all the expired products and I don’t want anything because the trouble that I had was not worth 3 or 6 dollars but for the restaurant apologizing to me personally and also removing all the expired products and also the quality of food that has diminished significantly should be improved or the closure of the restaurant. And I also left both of those products there one was eaten and one was opened but not completely eaten. Because I wouldn’t eat them and also can someone tell me where can complain about the restaurant because I have not been feeling good all day today. Everyone please be safe and don’t get stuff food from the restaurant whatsoever.

Visit May 25, 2022 So we visited this cafe on our first day in Chicago with high hopes based on some tik toks and reviews on google. Of all the places we dined at, this was hands down the worst of all. We ordered a chicken tikka sub (can’t remember the exact name nor can find it on the menu’s they have listed now) and the loaded fries. First, you probably would have to set up a scavenger hunt to even find any pieces of chicken in the sub, and remember to take a floating device with you because of all the sauce pooled on top. During our hunt we found probably 5 tid bits of chicken that was probably the size of m&m’s. The sub lacks in flavor completely. There was no other components to the sub that would make you even say “okay at least they didn’t skimp out on this,” unfortunately the only abundance of was the roll itself and the sauce. The portion of this sub is not filling either. The sub was the least bit presentable either, so that’s another downer for me. Second the loaded fries. The pictures are greatly deceiving for this one. The fries it self was edible. But the toppings made it worse. The chicken on it was very dry and literally shredded to pieces, might as well have put it in a blender and served it. BUT this sauce was something else. It had a tart flavor, not the kind you taste plain yogurt, but the kind you know that it’s starting to go bad. I guess it was at least much better looking than the sub. Overall, we ate what we could and the rest became history. We really wanted to give this place a chance but unfortunately we won’t ever return again or recommend it to anyone. I’m surprised to see good reviews, but it could be that other things are possibly better tasting. It’s not worth it, dine at your own risk.
