Food is passable. Customer services is deplorable. There is a reason you don't take your children to your place of employment, while you are on the clock; it compromises your prioroties. My coworker was accused, by 2 Nesh employees, of walking into their one toilet, one person, Men's bathroom (unlocked) while a child was there; this was done on the guest floor, at a table of 3, in front of all customers in a volume loud enough for everyone to hear. My coworker denied the incident, appeared genuinely perplexed, but employees insisted until he decided he wasn't going to argue anymore, so he left his meal and walked away. I have to say it's the best thing he could have done even though he was being called a liar, chastised by them ("you were not right"), and uncomfortable about the insinuation they were posing. I was at the table and was completely confused, uncomfortable and dumb founded at the approach; my coworker was only away at the bathroom for brief minutes. The employees never addressed me or our third party; not even an apology for making the situation difficult for us. I never saw a child at the front of the house, but the employees offered to bring the child out. They never did. I approached the front counter after my coworker left and asked to see the child. They refused my request and said it wasn't necessary because there was another employee who witnessed the incident; they refused to show video from cameras in the hallway; they refused giving me the names of all employees involved. It should be noted that when I asked to speak to the manager, many employees from the back of the house came out, one of which suggested to the manager, in Spanish, to tell me that they called the police about the situation (which they didn't; no cause). I speak Spanish, so I called them out on their lie, but encouraged them to call the police if the situation they perceived was serious enough. I personally offered to call the police for them and offered my name and my coworker's, the "culprit." They declined. The situation doesn't warrant police involvement. They kept asking why my coworker left, insinuating that his departure was an admission of guilt. They seemed to be under the belief that I was arguing on my coworkers behalf; I was arguing about their approach to a situation that disturbed our entire table. I have been in customer service for 20 years and know that this situation should have been handled on the side, away from other customers, and with an objective stance. The child was an employee's kid hanging out in their kitchen. Their priorities were kin first, customer service last. They were also talking to a group of social service workers who don't think kindly of individuals abusing, neglecting, and/or exploiting children; that would be us,...
Read moreI recently decided to try this restaurant as I am now fully back in the office and wanted to explore new dining options in the area. I visited around 1:30 PM on Tuesday, October 7th. The restaurant was not particularly busy at that time, and the menu—along with the accompanying photos—looked very appealing.
Unfortunately, my experience did not meet expectations. The service was disappointing; both staff members working during my visit appeared disengaged and seemed reluctant to assist customers. I ordered the chicken kabob entrée, adding only two vegetables and requesting extra onions. However, I received only a minimal amount of onions and was informed there would be an additional charge for any more. The entrée was supposed to include grilled onions, but these were missing from my order. Additionally, the portion of garlic sauce provided was quite small and excessively salty, and I did not receive any pita bread with my meal.
Given that the entrée cost nearly $20 after tax, I was surprised that basic items like pita bread were not included. Overall, my experience was unsatisfactory, and I do not...
