I found this place to have racist vibes and rudeness all around! We met friends there and we already had reservations prior to going. Upon our arrival, we were asked where we would like to be seated and we said outside dining area. The hostess then told us it would be a 45min wait! We asked why so long when we'd already made a reservation? She then said, with an attitude, it was because we did not ask for that specific seating area. Upon making the reservation, we were not given a choice where to dine in the restaurant. We explained to the hostess that there was open seating outside, but she stated that it was seating that was already reserved and that we could sit at the bar and wait. We chose not to do that. As we continued to stand in the front entry, past our reservation time slot, we discovered that 2 other parties were seated outside without an outside reservation! We then told the hostess that we'd like to see the manager, and she continued to have an attitude, but got him anyway. He came out and repeated the same information as the hostess did, but as he saw the disappointment on our faces of how we were being treated, he said he would try to find us seating outside. A few minutes later, he came back and escorted us to the outside dining area. There were people looking at us as if we were a problem and we were not. We wanted to dine and be treated fairly like anyone else would of wanted to. The only staff person in the restaurant that had a pleasant attitude and seemed non-judgemental was our server. She was a nice young lady who was very knowledgeable about the menu. The food is overpriced and was not impressive at all, and on top of that, the customer service was in no way pleasant or comforting. We will not return...
Read moreIt was our first time visiting Bellevue after the transition from Rush Tavern. My girlfriends and I were extremely excited to check out this new spot. The hostess was welcoming and seated us to our table (Which btw we had reservations). Within 5 minutes after being seated we believe it was one of the managers ( young girl with curly dark hair ) approached us extremely aggressive. “excuse me but this table is reserved you can’t sit here. You have 2 options to choose from ( and so she points at the two tables we could sit at) and walks away not even apologizing and expecting the hostess to seat us to our new assigned seats that we had to chose after being seated our initial reserved table. After we sat ourselves to the new table we were forced to move to, whomever the girl is with the curly hair THEN puts a reserve sign on the table.
We immediately felt embarrassed, not welcomed, uncomfortable due to this woman’s approach.
We had a server which whom I will say was great! She was consistent, attentive and would always ask how we were doing.
Later during our dinner, the lady with the curly hair approached us, kindly…….. and apologizes…..:: AFTER an hour in a half of her aggressive approach to us kicking us out of our table after being seated by the hostess too……..and mentions that the pizza we ordered “was on her”. Thanks for the pizza Ms, but still didn’t change the fact she aggressively approached us, forced us to get up and move to ANY of the two seats she offered, the fact we were uncomfortable. As a professional, you don’t approach your customers well over a hour offering free pizza after moving them to a different table. She truthfully left a bad taste in our mouths and would never recommend for anyone to...
Read moreI’ve never written a review like this before, but my experience at Bellevue was beyond unacceptable.
While I was simply trying to enjoy my time, a so-called “regular” customer who comes every day and throws money around decided to target and humiliate me. Because I didn’t want to acknowledge him or give him attention, he loudly announced to the entire bar that I was an “OnlyFans pornstar.” That’s not only false, but also degrading and humiliating — I’m a financial consultant, and regardless of what I do for a living, no customer has the right to harass other patrons.
When I stood up for myself and told him to leave me alone, he escalated things even further by grabbing my hand and twisting my arm behind my back. For my own safety, I had to defend myself to get him off of me.
Instead of stepping in to protect me, the manager took his side — simply because he’s a “regular” who spends a lot of money there. I was the one thrown out, even though I was the person who was harassed and physically assaulted. To make matters worse, the manager treated me with blatant bias and hostility from the moment I walked in, while another manager named William (who wasn’t there at the time) has always been professional and respectful in past visits.
This kind of behavior — tolerating harassment, dismissing violence, and protecting a customer just because he tips well — is shameful. It speaks volumes about Bellevue’s values and priorities.
Honestly, you’re better off going across the street to Tavern on Rush. The manager there, Benny, would never allow something like this to happen. At least there, you’ll be treated...
