I frequent this restaurant at least once a week. I do not usually have any issues with receiving my order correctly, but today was one of those days that sticks with you and not in a good way.
I ordered three triple cheeseburgers with one of them being plain. Nothing but meat and cheese. The drive thru wait was a bit long. About 7 minutes in total which is to be expected nowadays, but that wasn’t what happened that made my visit terrible.
Before I left the drive thru waiting area I checked my order to insure that it was what I ordered. I found immediately that it was not what I ordered. There were three double cheeseburgers, one plain. The worst part? The plain cheeseburger didn’t even have its bottom bun. Just,… why? How?
I went inside and asked the shift lead to have my order remade. I didn’t raise my voice. I was courteous and polite. I sat down, waited patiently and did my best to not look into the kitchen area so as not to appear hostile or disrespectful. After approximately 10-12 minutes, not exaggerating, a woman brought me another bag with the remade order.
When I opened the bag and unwrapped the first cheeseburger it was a double. Not a triple cheeseburger. Same with the second and the third. At this point I am becoming visibly annoyed and bring the order back to the counter to have it remade again. I sit down agin and wait approximately 5-7 minutes this time and the same woman brings me the remade order. I open the bag and inspect the contents to find that the order is indeed three triple cheeseburgers now. Except for the fact that they are ALL plain. I very politely, yet curtly, ask the shift lead for the store managers number.
At this point I’ve been at the restaurant for nearly a half hour and have had my order remade twice. I don’t bother to have them try to remake it for a third time and walk out before I make a scene or become a “Karen”. Look, I get it. Accidents happen and things fall through the cracks sometimes. However, it is very difficult to overlook the fact that the order was not done correctly three separate times within nearly thirty minutes. That’s not acceptable. Read moreThe dirtiest lobby of any McDonlad I’ve ever seen, the guy brought us our food to the table and my husband politely asked to have someone come clean the table or give him a rag so he could do it. He said I will have someone come clean it. We continued to wait while our food got cold, so my husband went back to the counter and no one acknowledged him for several minutes so he asked again if someone could please come clean the table so we can eat our food. They same guy that promised to have someone one come do it turns around and yells at my husband “”I ALREADY TOLD YOU I WOULD HAVE SOMEONE COME DO IT!!!!!”” My husband is a good Christian man and is usually calm, he got loud right back and said than can I have the rag please? The guy got cocky so hubby said your lobby is disgusting, I can’t eat my meal without my arm sticking to the table so I would appreciate it if it happened now so my family can eat their dinner. The manager was out side smoking more than she was inside and there was only 1 employee nice out of the entire crew and she was the poor girl that cleaned the lobby back up. Will NOT be going back to that McDonalds I’ll drive up the turnpike to the other one the crew members there have never disrespected my family after we paid our hard earned money to eat at their establishment. Only McDonald's I know that can have 10 workers and you still have to go get your own food. Tried to get one of my babies milk and the RUDE cashier proceeds to tell me, 'it'll come with your food!' Well guess what was missing when we got our seriously wrong order? Yep, no milk! Homegirl didn't even want to read the receipt that she had me go back to the kiosk for. Once she did do the minimum, by reading the receipt to see what sizes drinks we had, she proceeded to slam the cups on the counter, geez!!! I already did most of the work here, placed order on kiosk, made our own drinks, grabbed our food because none of the 10 employees could come out from behind the counter and you still want to act as if it's an inconvenience for you to give me the food I paid for, after you guys got it wrong, you all have got to do better!!
