Good luck getting your cookies! Extremely disappointed with the service at Crumbl in Chico. We were really craving some cookies this evening and were not able to go pick up the order. Used the Crumbl app to place an order that was $40 for 4 cookies and milk for an ASAP delivery. Was advised it would be close to a 35 minute wait. We elected to wait. The app offered tracking of the delivery, however when it got to be about delivery time, the app told us the delivery was 1 minute away. We were told the delivery was 1 minute away for over 10 minutes. I finally called the store expressing my concern as my card had been charged, our delivery hadn’t shown up and their store was closing in 10 minutes. The person who answered the phone initially told me that they didn’t have my order, then the excuse fell on Door Dash and that I needed to reach out to them. What?! I explained that I placed my order directly through the Crumbl app, not through Door Dash. The girl on the phone kept saying that it was Door Dash’s fault and that they didn’t know where the driver was. I advised her that waiting on another independent operator to fulfill their company’s business needs and blaming them for not showing up was a poor excuse. She told me there was nothing they could do. I asked to speak with a manager who also advised that they didn’t know where their Door Dash driver was. I asked him why is this my/the customer’s fault and explained to him that I placed an order using their platform which offered delivery and took my payment and that I expected their company to fulfill my order, not to blame it on another organization. The manager told me that he would call Door Dash Support and find out what was going on. I waited on hold while he called. He finally came back on line and advised that my order would be cancelled and my card refunded. I won’t be frequenting this business again and certainly won’t be referring it to...
Read moreUpon initial investigation I discovered this new Chico cookie merchant on the block "crumble" which I assure you their cookies do not do. At first glance you will notice the abnormally high price of a cookie at this location. After deciding to give a fair review me and my buddy went in on a party pack and made sure to get one of every cookie this week at least for a test, our conclusion is this. The cookies are good, that being said its hard to mess up a cookie so good wont cut it, especially a ridiculous $4 a cookie when the same quality chocolate chip cookie can be purchased at the cookie shop for a fraction of the price. Each cookie is the same dough base with different toppings, the base itself is extremely sugary and the toppings add to increase the sweetness to a sometimes unpleasant level.

After having an awesome lunch a few doors down at the Poor House in Chico we came across this place which is in the same shopping complex.
It is very clean inside and they were baking as we came in. They don't have alot of choices but what they have looked really good!
They are priced alittle too high for the area ( 3 very small cookies for 10 bucks). I got a cookie with banana flavor topped with brown sugar for 5 bucks. The cookie was pretty good but I am not big on sweets and so for the price of one cookie ...well it's not for me.
Nice packaging in a pink box. I hope they do well in this challenging economy as they are providing quality cookies!
Ps. Employees need to be nicer...
