My boyfriend and I went to this Popeyes to get us dinner. He went and ordered and was over to the side to wait. Another customer from a delivery app went to pick up an order and was told there were no apple pies because they had run out, now our meals came with apple pies yet not one employee mentions it to my boyfriend. They replace the other customers apple pie with another. My boyfriend goes up and tell the cashier that if the pie was what he was waiting for heād just like to switch like the other customer. He was told to switch the pie would cost him extra which it did not for the previous customer. He asked how long the pies would take and was told five minutes. After that time pasted he asked how much loner and then was told they had to make new chicken because all they had were wings and since we asked for no wings they had to make more, again not one person mentions this to my boyfriend while ordering. Fed up with the wait my boyfriend just asks for our money back only to be told no because āthe store canāt afford to give money backā. My boyfriend replies with āwell either get me my food now or give me my moneyā and is told they only have a minute left on the chicken. After that minute passed my boyfriend asks again only for the cook to come out and argue with my boyfriend about all he does for the job to only be paid 13$ an hour. And after that they finally gave my boyfriend the food and asked him to leave. This experience has been absolutely asinine and has left my boyfriend and I extremely frustrated. It was our first time trying Popeyes and will most definitely...

So, first and foremost the order was taken by a female employee outside standing beside the drive-thru menu board. Obviously, issues with the speaker at the menu board but no fault of hers. Several of the cars behind us in the line left due to the lengthy wait no doubt. After waiting for at least 20 minutes in the drive-thru line, we witnessed the vehicle directly in front of us actually returning everything they received from the cashier at the window. Danger, Danger!! Their entire order was incorrect. Lucky for them the correction was made. Up next at the window, the total was the first clue that our order was incorrect. Already frustrated from the wait, tired from the drive and with another 3 hours left to go on the road (Driving from Boston MA to New Hartford NY) we just paid for the order and got back on the highway. Thank God š everything tasted great and we even have enough left over to have for dinner tonight š FYI- Please address the issues with the drive-thru menu board speaker first. Second, if you choose to utilize an Expeditor invest in wireless headsets with software compatible microphones and credit card capability. It must be user friendly and stress less for the customers. Remember that as consumers we have options. Good...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreToday was probably one of the worst experiences Iāve had at any restaurant in the recent past. Iām not one to ever complain, but I really believe this needs to be reported. First, due to the shift supervisor (or whatever he was) rushing staff Iām now out almost $10 worth of food because it wasnāt in my bag (a large MacNCheese and a biscuit). Which is the #1 thing Iām most upset about! Thatās $10 which is a lot of money; unlike if it was a dipping sauce or something. Which leads me to my next complaintā¦.since when do they charge for dipping sauce? The server was requesting 35 cents per sauce. Is this new? Because I could hear the shift manager complaining loudly to his staff that if they donāt charge and the run out of sauces that customers will complain and cooperate Popeyes will close the store down due to it (which is far fetched and sounds extreme!) No, instead I have to complain about $10 worth of food missing, but thatās okay apparently! Lastly, to top all this off, when I went to check a receipt to go back and complain, I didnāt have one (in the bag or given to me with my card back). The little we got, a sandwich meal and 3 piece dark meal, I was charged $28. Which there is no way that I was charged correctly for what I was given. I did file a complaint with corporate, so weāll see if this gets resolved. Now to figure out what my daughters going to eat...
