Royal Buffet & Grill — Restaurant in Chicopee

(Please note caps for emphasis) One star is MUCH too generous. Not ok for vegetarians at all, but all eaters should go elsewhere! The food was ALL disgusting; it was bland, greasy and the few veggies and fruits were mushy and NOT fresh; the lettuce was even brown around the edges! The server was quick in removing the plates full of unwanted food, but not friendly, and never asked what was going on that we were not eating, eventhough we kept going back to the buffet and returning with full plates of unrelated items. The king crab legs, and shrimp, which were the only things that were decent, were SO slow in coming out, that after over an hour there, I left hungry. FURTHERMORE, both my children are still struggling with belly aches from the few fried potatoes, canned fruit, and a couple of desserts that they found to eat (they are vegetarians so they could not partake of the crab legs or shrimp). I could go on and on, since we were very hungry, and it was late, therefore we tried really hard to find something decent. It might suffice to say that they were so talented at making decent ingredients into gross food, that they even botched porkfried rice; it was bland & sticky mush, like they just combined sticky rice with a few pieces of chopped up boneless ribs, and oil. The ambience was also not great, as the floors were slippery in places, and sticky in others. (PS. First time there afew Days ago, and iwas wert desapointed the place look "clean" but there were things I question one of the staff there was with acloth cleaning the counter top but iwas that each time she will clean and there were some food left on the counter top she would of through the do d back instead of throwing it away. iwent to this tthis place with 4 people they were confused about why iwent from being exited to try somenthing new and within minute I refused to eat, also utensil were not clean few of my friend end it up asking for plastic utensils, our server that day did not spoke English he was confused about what plastic utensils were till one of my friend went to the staff at the register to ask for some and than came back to show the server. And yes people do need to check their receipt I didn't eat,there but my friend still was charged for 5 people and extra tips the staff there looked like they really didn't want to be working there. Once in the car when iask to be taking to paneras itold my friends the reason I refused to eat there. We won't be visiting this place again. The owner of this place seems to only care about money not hospitality or...

Haven't gone in like 10 years cause of experience. So went Monday holiday. I save receipts n write on mine. I gave a tip n obviously she must have felt it wasn't good enough n gave herself an extra $10 bucks. Disputing today when they open. If not resolved disputing with charges. Taking more than paid is theft. Now I see why I don't go there. I will come there to discuss the matter. If not straightened out. I'm sure that social media would love to know what's up by the reviews n maybe health dept. Should do a surprise visit. I won't mention old dried out cold anything.owner fixing. will change review when complete. Danny so called owners says will give money back n will see it in two days. Well says pending zero dollars. Hmm calling to ask if this is correct amount he mentioned to give back. I'm sure it's not a mistake. Pay with cash when you go. So you don't get ripped off. Nice racket they have going. Thought he was being sincere nope. I had $1.94 left in my account after. If it overdrafted I'd go for the overdraft fee as well...
