My dad and I went in on a Monday night about one hour before closing, I had issues with my smoke detectors at home, I thought probably I had to replace them but wasnāt sure, when I purchased my home, I bought everything at this location, along with my smoke detectors one of my LED lights had gone out I thought and i needed an exact match but looked like the ones I have arenāt on stock anymore so I needed help finding one similar, and I had questions on which sensor lights to get for 4 areas of my home.
I donāt usually go in in the evening but we got there, there was a couple ladies on the front desk, and felt like there werenāt many people there, we want to the back of lighting area to the corner of the main aisle and after waiting a few minutes I went to appliances to ask for help in the electric departament, a gentleman with an apron on a wheelchair was kind enough to page someone so we waited about 5 minutes and nobody came, I went to the front desk and asked a female employee for help and she said sheāll page someone and I had told her someone already had pages for help but nobody came, I went back to the corner of the aisle to wait, someone that looked like a manager was walking around with another person that looked like a personal friend or a vendor he was chatting with him walking around the store, on the meantime we are still waiting for help on electrical.
What was irritating is that the employees in the front knew we needed help and the manager was on the front as well but we were not getting attention but they just kept looking in our direction, we needed some paint accessories as well but the lighting was more important, anyways we got no help or any interaction and I told my dad weāll have to come see Dave in the morning heās always very helpful but he works in the morning, so we went to get our paint accesorios and left very dissapointed.
They are usually great with exceptions of a few people there that are not willing to help you, there is a new manager in there so hopefully his customer services standards are able to oversee the needs of this store specially with employees who may not be doing right by customers.
I will definitely be back, with a chip on my shoulder...
Question is, how many more people feel the same and donāt share...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI came to Chicopee Homedepot looking for a lawn mower. I was expecting a fast in and out service and I didn't get one. When I walked in, I saw many workers walking around. I quickly found the one I liked and tried to get help, but all of the sudden they all suddly vanished. It was like they all pretended to be busy when they clearly were not. After finding someone, the guy scanned the item and said that there is non on display, but they should be in back. He went to go check it. 10 minutes turned into 30 minutes and Iwas very frustrated from waiting that long. He clearly did not want to do his job so he sent a back up. Then this new employee also scanned the item, said he be right back with it and also vanished. At this point I've been in the store for an hour and a half and was furious. After going and talking to the customer service, they sent me a third employee. DYLAN came and took action. He got my item fast, in less than 3 minutes. He was very helpful. I recommend only getting help from Dylan. He is ver pleasant, respectful, very well mannered, knows his job and clients concerns, and gets the job donen fast! Im giving Dylan 5 stars and the store -10 stars. If Dylan wasn't there to help me at that time, I would most likely to go to different store and do business with them! Thanks Dylan! You...

I received an email letting me know my order was ready, I went to pick it up, wait in line, lady struggles to find my ready order, and finally finds it. It was in isle 26, she tells me someone will bring it in a moment so I wait around 20 minutes, and noticed how busy everyone was so I kindly asked if it was okay for me to grab my order in isle 26 and they kindly said said yes. After wards after walking a mission to grab my order which is 10 packs of wooden mulch, and bags of rocks, I had to pull that all the way to the exit⦠here comes ERIC rudely stops me and ask me where my paper work was, and I said I have my order emailā¦. He then says thatās not good enough, and wants me to pull everything back inside to service desk⦠I tell him that they told me this was ok, he tells me he isnāt letting me leave even after showing him the email with my name, and products also my products were labeled with my name on them, I said I can wait here while you call them⦠he was so rude to me, even though the mistake was on their end and not mine. I showed him proof that the products were bought and were mine but he continued to treat me so poor as if I were stealing everything.
