At one time, this particular location used to be well managed, and MUCH cleaner. As a frequent customer of many Starbucksā locations, it is both unfortunate and disappointing, to see just how far service has slid backwards at the Chicopee location. I stopped in recently, to order two tall (small) mocha Frappuccinos. I did not order any other beverages, nor did I order anything from the pastry case, no chips, nothing, and my order was nearly $15.00! Thatās not ridiculous; itās purely OUTRAGEOUS! Aside from that, I got inside, and made it to the order counter, with no one ahead of me, waiting to order. I noticed that there were two or three people at the end of the counter, waiting for the drinks they had already ordered, along with a long line of vehicles at the drive-up, that I noticed on my way into the store. As I was waiting for my order to be taken, a line of customers began to quickly form behind me. After about five minutes of waiting at the register, a staff member said that she would ābe with me in a minuteā. Shortly thereafter, she took my order, but did not ask my name, for the label on the cup. I was asked to wait at the end of the counter, and told my drinks would be ready in a few minutes. This is the point, where the REAL waiting began!!! I waited patiently, as I watched every person behind me in line, along with what seemed like close to a dozen more, who came in, behind THEM, AFTER my order was placed, and almost the entire drive-up line of customers, wrapped around the building, get cleared out, BEFORE I was asked what the name for my order was. Apparently, the barista finally figured out, that she had two nameless labels, sitting in beverage limbo for close to a half an hour, before deciding to ask me why I had been waiting for so long. At long last, she proceeded to make my drinks! In hindsight, I should have spoken up sooner, but in my experience, I donāt like to pressure baristas, out of fear that they may screw-up my order, and Iāll have to wait even longer to get things corrected. After all the waiting, the drinks were āokā, but definitely not worth $15.00! The waiting was made worse, by the fact that the store itself, was a complete shambles! No napkins in the dispenser!!! I practically had to beg, to get TWO napkins!!! There were absolutely no sugars or sugar substitute packets, or anything else for that matter, except an empty napkin dispenser, and a handful of straws, falling all over the place, on the once well-stocked condiment counter/trash receptacle (which was overflowing btw). The floor needed a serious sweep, as there were used napkins, straw wrappers, and other debris strewn all over the place! The tables and front counter disgusting, and weāre not only in need of a wipe-down, they were in need of a power wash, as they appeared to have grime from at least a century, caked on the surface! The exterior of the building was just as lovely! Bags of trash piled up by the door, absolutely no trash receptacles to be found outside, so just imagine, how unsightly the area around the building is, with trash dumped on the ground everywhere, especially in the parking lot. Nowā¦. After all that, two words sum it all up for me, in regards to this locationā¦....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreItās always a wait at this location. On top of that they never get the order right and have a bad attitude when asked to fix it. Today I ordered TWO venti strawberry refreshers with lemonade no berries extra shaken (bc they never shake it). I go to the window Iām being handed my drink and 2 inches missing of drink in the venti cup. I ask the girl nicely (Asian employee couldnāt get her name) to fill it up please as she rolls her eyes at me. Then I asked where my 2nd drink is. Again eye rolls and does it. This time bringing me a drink with the berries in it, and I asked for no berries which caused another eye roll. Then Emma comes back with the drink you can totally still see strawberry pieces floating by around - but I let it go. The drink is RED from the Aci and not even lemonade. I grabbed the drink I was given by the first employee asking Emma to look at the color of the drinks and how they are totally different colors. She then telling me I was wrong and they look the same not letting it go. So then she says you know what Iāll put more lemonade and dumps half the drink out and fills it up. Then hands me the drink and slams the window. Very unprofessional! Emma had every excuse when I called to speak with the supervisor because she was the supervisor. If you listened the first time it wouldnāt have happened!!! Also the first employee sounded miserable if you hate your job...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUpdate: Tried this location again a month later. Absolutely atrocious. 30 mins+ for a $6 coffee with just milk. If the incompetent manager should spend less time vaping in front of his Subaru, and get what little staff he has to pay attention. I was one of four people inside. Watch 30+ other drinks be made. Then asked about my coffee waited another 10 mins, and watched another couple walk up and complain, getting their coffees made immediately. This store is downright pathetic and should be avoided at all costs. Again I have been coming to this location nearly every day for the last 3-4 years. It has gone down hill due to the new corporate model and manager. They are understaffed atleast 2-3 days a week but still managed to extend their hours out. Several times I have ordered ahead and either a. Had to wait 30+ for $5 coffee with a a splash of milk b. Ordered ahead when their lobby isnt even open then proceed to wait in a 25 car drive thru line for approximately 30 mins. The corporate greed Starbucks exudes while spitting in their faces has been enough for me to find a new coffee shop. I advise others to do the same. Stop paying for Howard Schultz 300 million dollar yatch. Stop enriching this owner who does not care a single bit about his staff or customers experience. Itās...
