While the selections here are amazing the customer service experience of trying to exchange an item was complicating. I purchased a Hot Rollers iron $19.99 a couple months ago from a different Marshall’s location than the one I was shopping at. Never having a problem with making a return with a receipt or a store exchange store credit without a receipt, Taylor had explained that the Marshall’s price tag sticker on the box “was not in their system” and I asked her if I could use the $19.99 towards my in-store purchase and she had to call over a manager. As a customer, I’m feeling confused looking at the unopened box and Marshalls sticker feeling as though….how is the bar code system error my problem as a regular Marshalls shopper? This is nerve racking as I shop at Marshalls in various locations and never ran into this problem. While there was several of the same exact iron with the same price of $19.99 in the hair section of the store Taylor’s attitude in helping me as a customer was lacking. After going back and forth with the manager explaining this, he asked me if there was anything wrong with it or if I had opened it (box was unopened with original seal not broken all contents inside) which I never did because I purchased some Dyson products. The whole ordeal was like 5 minutes of standing at the check out counter for an issue that I didn’t feel should’ve been my hassle. Should all Marshall’s barcodes be in every Marshall’s system? Yes! Read moreJust viewed a very rude and nasty transaction with a manager named Christine. A short woman came in to exchange a table for one more expensive as I heard. The woman was polite but said she couldn't find her receipt but she just bought the table about within that hour because I had been there shopping for about that long. She had the card she purchased items on. This woman spent over 1000 in your store and was mistreated by a manager. The manager was annoyed you can see in her face. Corporate should look and review video evidence of this. Because she proceend with annoyance then tossed receipt at customer, only because she had to take time to look up at customer receipt. I dont understand why she couldn't swipe the bank card for the transaction. Also customer still purchased more expensive item. If it was me I would have worked hard to find receipt even drive back home and return ALL items I bought from this store. I never want this type of customer service, so this will be my last time Marshall's in Chicopee, Ma. I rather Enfield Marshall's are much more POLITE, HELPFUL AND PATIENT! There is a nice selection of exotic candies, snacks, condiments etc. Best place in town I have found to get a wide variety of sugar free coffee syrups at a great price. They have Chimes Ginger Chews candies here too which are a great treat . Store is always clean and well lit including the bathrooms. They used to have a much wider selection of shoes but after the Covid19 pandemic everything changed. They still have shoes just a smaller selection.
