Wendy's — Restaurant in Chillicothe

The food was ok, I know that everyone is in a hurry, trying to get things done and move on. The world is about " treating and streeting"; customers. There are timers on drive through windows, that if the orders take too long to finish, the employees are reprimanded, and the management is in trouble. I know that one person has triple the amount of work to do, because of staff shortages. Everyone knows that it is getting harder to find quality employment, without getting abused by the Karen's in the world who, hates themselves and is verbally abrasive to young employees. In a fast food pickup line, I think that the average person,can have a bit of humility and NOT SCREAM , at the employees who are doing their best to get food out to people who have NO HOME TRAINING! If you don't want to wait the whole 10 minutes it takes to make your 5 super sized meals. Take your self home, and cook it yourself. If you get your jollies, verbally assaulting a 16 year old because you didn't get your diet soda, with your 10 pounds of food. Maybe you should seek some mental health support. Seeing a 50-ish, woman pound on her horn, and scream to go faster, is repulsive. And although I do not know who the "person", was. As a parent, I'm done watching people act like fools, because they feel they are entitled to better, faster, and NOW. IM DONE. I'm going anti-Karen. If you need to abuse a child because you have to have food faster, I am going to start explaining to you what manners are. And if I witness another group of Live, Laugh ,Love Karens degrading someone, one of us isn't walking away. GROW UIP! And to the creepy lady in the green SUV that was behind me, and screaming curse words because she needed to eat faster than the child can give it to her greedy hands, you are very lucky I was heading to work, because you deserve a beat down. And it's time for normal people, with a clue of right and wrong to defend the children that are, over worked, underpaid, and...

I've had some recent problems that are an apparent company wide issue. First, let me say, the staff I have dealt with (usually the late evening crew), have been exceptional & truly make a great effort to assure me good service. Unfortunately, the past three (3) times I have come to the restaurant, I have ordered chili, but they have been 'out' for the evening. Okay, it happens. The bummer is, it's the only food item I ordered. Here's the issue, - I use the mobile app nearly every time I go to Wendy's. When I place the order through the app, my bank account is charged by way of my debit card. When the item I ordered is NOT available, I get nothing & my account gets charged (This is another apparent issue or glitch in Wendy's system). An important note; the staff has ALWAYS made good on these issues I've encountered, but this requires me returning to the store on another day & presenting an 'IOU' that I've requested from the cashier &/or manager. This issue, that has occurred several times, is reliant on me to 'make things right'.

In this day & age, this shouldn't need to occur. The store should be able to enter information into Wendy's system that indicates an item is not available when someone is using the mobile app. A form of this apparently already exists, because breakfast items are not available to order after a certain time. Also, if you have an item saved as a 'favorite', but the item is no longer available, it is indicated in the app & you can't add the item to your order.

Thank you again, to the staff, who work hard & put up with a lot disgruntled people. Most of the time, they don't deserve it. Life is too short people, - SMILE & wish people a good day! 😊

Wendy's corporate, please work on these issues. Myself & many, many others, will be grateful!

Horrible place. My sister was n a car crash with her 4 kids an rolled the van 4 times. I went out to wendys to get them all some food after their tests came back an were allowed to finally eat. We ordered ahead on the app and when I got there my order was entirely wrong. No big deal. I'll go in and get it right. Nope. I get in there a d he says he KNOWS he put my 2 son of baconators in the bag he was so sure of it. He was so sure of it in fact he refused at first to remake it. That was until I pointed out that if he was sooooo sure he put them in my bag then why did I have 3 items that I didn't even order. I was calm at forst but after he started basically calling me a liar an wasn't gonna make it then I got pissed. How can u say u remember putting something in my bag when u gave me the completely wrong order! Yeah I don't doubt u remember pitting 2 baconatots in a bag it just wasn't my bag it was probably the ppl who ordered a chicken sandwich and a plain hamburger happy meal none of wich I ordered he gave us the wrong happy meals and wrong bags an refused to remake it until I threatened to come behind the counter and make him make my food that I PAID for! I work at Kenworth I make $36 an hour I don't have to steal food from a fast food restaurant but I absolutely REFUSE to pay for it TWICE! Especially when they know they gave me the wrong order and this was from a Manager he looked like he was 16 years old he had long hair in a pony tail and thinks he knows it all but hey what kid doesn't right? I'm never EVER going back to that store ever again. We don't even eat fast food not just cause of horrible service but because it's unhealthy so the last thing I wanted was some free food from that nasty place but thats how the MANAGER sees it even after he is proven wrong to his face!
