Nice to have a Great tasting Korean BBQ chicken place nearby. I believe to get anything of this quality, you would need to live more towards Korea town or the San Gabriel Valley. This review is based on two of my visits during the While Covid ordeal. I want to first cover how easy it is to order either on the phone or online. Keep note that if you do try ordering online they do have 10% off during this review for first time users. Ordering is really easy either on the phone or online. Everything is pretty self explanatory, and you could even write some notes there if you wish to alter an order. There is Apple Pay, and they will notify you by text that your order is ready, so you don’t really need to wait around. Super convenient, to get your food and get out.
Food I have tried the whole chicken (you can pick two versions) we tried the golden chicken and the secret spicy. The Secret spicy is SO good. The only sauce I have tried so far that I wasn’t a big fan of, was the honey garlic, I believe it had a bit too much garlic. The kimchi fried rice was mediocre in my opinion, and to note, the fries are the steak fries.
Things I would recommend : Soy Garlic Wings- these are BURSTING with flavor. You just gotta get these, and you will easily come back for more.
So the second time I went back, I had to order the wings again, and I have yet to try the other things on the menu. Goal is also to try the Duk Bukki as I am a fan of rice cakes. I hope I made it easier for anyone that was considering this place, I hope to update my review soon on other...
Read moreI’ve been ordering chicken almost every Saturday after work as a way to wrap up my week, but today was a huge disappointment.
A few weeks ago, I downloaded the app to start rewards program since I order frequently. It happened to be my birthday month, so I planned to use the birthday reward today when placing my online order after work. However, I wasn’t able to use it, so I called the store. The man who answered the phone seemed annoyed and explained that I needed to spend money to use the reward. I asked if I needed to place the order online or over the phone, and he just asked if I was going to pick it up from the store, to which I said yes, and then order on the phone for my order.
When I went to pick it up, a woman assisted me with the payment, and I asked about the reward. I inquired if I could use it next time since I had already paid today, but she just stayed silent. As she remained quiet, I showed her the app and asked how I could use the birthday reward. She turned away and ignored me. Then, the man I spoke to on the phone came out, and it felt like he was treating me as if I was trying to start an argument. I was shocked by his attitude. He asked me what I ordered when we spoke on the phone and then said I should have mentioned one of the two items that qualified for the birthday reward.
I was surprised by their attitude. I’ve never had an issue when placing regular orders, but today was truly disappointing. I won’t be ordering from the Chino Hills...
Read more0/5. Terrible customer service. I placed an order on their website which accidentally put this location in by mistake. I tried to call seconds after placing the order to cancel it, but multiple times they did not pick up the phone.
Finally after about 5 minutes they decided to pick up. I tell him my situation and he says he has to speak with his manager and if he can call back. He calls back and tells me that the manager won't cancel the order and refund me my money. I ask to speak with the manager and he then tells me the manager is not available. After several attempts to get the manager on the line I just give up because I know I'm not getting my money back.
It's obvious the manager is a coward...
