A great place to enjoy a Korean meal with friends. So many amazing flavors; entrees presented so well, great staff, and a few banchan selections, but perfectly accompanied our meal. I’m just going to say, if you don’t have THAT one friend who know these foodie finds or you’re not sure where to go to try these amazing Korean foods, let me be THAT friend or person to send you in the right direction. I am not one to gate keep these delicious finds whenever my Korean friends steer me in the right direction. Mind you, I am the worst with spelling the names of these dishes, so I apologize in advance, but I hope my photos will help you order. Our group of six (our favorites in this order) MUST TRY: Galbi Jin/Him - add the cheese if you can, melt-off-the-bone beef is amazing, glass noodles are perfection-caramelized onions and the sweet glaze is such a delicious marinade
(Forgot the name)it was a bulgogi-like marinaded beefsteak entree served on a sizzling black platter Naengmyeon (Cold Noodles in Broth) Donkatsu (perfect batter/so tender and delicious)
Not as much of a crowd favorites, but still tasty (just not a reorder priority for us if not needed) A potato stew A seafood/octopus stew A shredded beef/glass noodle spicy stew Complimentary Items & Few Banchan items: a chilled tea; purple rice, kimchi, radish kimchi, seaweed
I hope this helps if you’re new to Seoul Haus as I’d been. Luckily, my friends led us in the right direction and ordered everything we just had to have. Thank you so much to their wonderful staff. Their hospitality...
Read moreI have ordered takeout from Seoul Haus multiple times. Takeout orders are consistently packaged well with all the expected items, such as banchan (side dishes), utensils, and napkins. The food was also very good. I do order a variety of menu items, but one of my main go-to dishes is their sul-long-tang (oxtail bone soup). It is one of their best soups. It may not be a well-known Korean dish like Kbbq or Korean fried chicken, but in my opinion, it is one of the best Korean comfort foods.
There aren’t many restaurants near my home that have sul-long-tang, so it’s really nice to have a restaurant that does it well just down the street from me. The soup broth has a rich, deep flavor. The color of the broth is a clear indicator of its quality. The meat in the soup, which seems to be brisket, is always good quality.
One of the main indicators of a superior Korean restaurant is the variety and freshness of the banchan (side dishes) they provide. Takeout orders generally only have a couple of standard banchan (unless you ask), but if you eat in the restaurant, a few more banchan come with your meal.
Seoul Haus is by far the best and most authentic Korean restaurant in Chino Hills. The service is also consistently good. Whether I’m getting takeout or eating in, the staff are always polite and welcoming. The restaurant serves great food at good prices in a very clean...
Read moreAfter a long hike, we were craving some Korean BBQ and decided to give this place a try. We thought it would be a good pick, and while the food was tasty, the portions were such a letdown—especially for the price.
Let me start with the soup I ordered. It was a rice cake soup, and honestly, it lived up to its name… barely. There were only a few tiny pieces of rice cake floating in there, which just felt so cheap. The soup itself tasted great, but come on, where’s the substance?
The meat dishes were no better—just a few small pieces that left us wondering if we’d accidentally ordered off a kid’s menu. Every dish we tried had decent flavor, but the portions were ridiculously small compared to what they were charging. Most dishes were over $20, and honestly, it felt like we were getting maybe $5 worth of food.
I get that good food can come with a price tag, but this place takes it to another level. It’s hard to enjoy a meal when you’re left feeling like you’ve been shortchanged. Tasty food or not, the portions need to match the price. Definitely not somewhere I’d...
