Such a convenient and modern concept to Vietnamese eatery. Everything is packaged to-go, and we got a free tote bag with our order! Parking: They’re located in a plaza, so there’s plenty of free parking. Ambiance/Environment: They recently opened, so it’s a clean spot. They have a medium sized space with a good amount of indoor seating & no outdoor seating. Service: We ordered ahead, so we didn’t really interact with anyone except one worker. We ordered to-go but we decided to dine there, and the one worker we talked to was Tee. She was really nice. Menu items: 1) Banh Cuon - THIS is what they’re known for! I rarely order Banh Cuon when I’m out bc I’m used to my grandma’s homemade Banh Cuon. When I tell y’all these reminded me of my grandma’s .. these were AMAZING! There was a generous amount of nuoc mam, cha lua, and vegetables. 2) Banh Xeo Shrimp & Pork - This came with 2 large banh xeo. It was filled with bean sprouts and shrimps. There was less pork compared to everything else, so I’d prefer an equal portion of each filling. It also came with large lettuces, generous amounts of nuoc mam, & pickled veggies. I actually really liked this! The nuoc mam gave it so much flavor. 3) Banh Mi Dac Biet - Their banh mis are huge. The baguette was toasted perfectly. The pickled veggies & daikon were absolutely fresh. The cold meats were also good, but I prefer a bit more. 4) Pho Bo Vien - I’ve always been skeptical of to-go pho. The soup was packaged separately, and it was actually still really hot. The noodles, meats, & toppings were in another package. I thought it was decent. The soup was salty for my liking, but it came with a generous amount of toppings. 5) Lychee Green Tea & Pandan Coffee - I love the drinks! The lychee flavor came through, and it was sooo refreshing! The pandan coffee tasted exactly as it sounds. Their Vietnamese coffee is strong! Make sure to mix well. Utensils: The utensils are reusable also! I really liked the chopsticks! Pricing: I’d say it’s worth it. The packaging is on point. We even got a free tote bag & reusable utensils with our order. There’s a generous amount of delicious foods in each box.

Cool a new place ! Interesting to see a different style of how Vietnamese food is served. They have these boxes they put the food in and my order actually came in a tote bag to go. I’m assuming it may be a grand opening thing. Either or the place looked clean and well lit but the location is a a bit hidden by Gen Korean bbq. Food The food was pretty decent for the price. I’m used to some other places that may have a bit more flavor, but I do appreciate how this place seems a bit “healthier” to me. (Not as oily as other places) What we tried was: Mi Xao Garlic Noodle with filet mignon- this dish was pretty good, garlic noodle was packed w garlic and it had some fresh vege on the side. I wished the beef was not as cooked or I believe it may be more juicier. Bun - Vegetarian - this was quite refreshing compared to other places we have tried Viet style Chicken Wings - skin was still crispy, decent, and not too dry or too wet. Shrimp and Sweet potato Fritters- I believe this was one of the highlight dishes, that my wife and daughter enjoyed. They believe it could have a bit more flavor but loved the “funnel cake” like texture. Thai Tea with crystal boba- this was one of my highlights as the crystal boba was good, and the Thai tea for once was not overall sweet. Would order this again. The order process was quite fast, and they also do have a website. It was a bit complicated to order at first but after we checked the website it was more clear on what each order was. Again the style was interesting. Definitely worth a try to experience the food with the box and the tote bag!

I ordered Tay Ho banh cuon set and grilled pork and Vietnamese ham rice noodle papers. These set look better than their taste. The banh cuon tasted a little sour aftertaste, I guess they don’t make the rice cake fresh everyday, so the plan rice cakes are not soft. The ham and shrimp cake is average, nothing is special. The shrimp and sweet potato fries are not crunchy and very oily. So far only grilled pork in this set tastes okay. The house special sauce - nuoc mam is salty. I tried many vietnamese banh cuon in OC, TayHo was successful at other location in little Saigon, but first time I ate at this location I’m disappointed and won’t come back again. P.s. The owner mentioned about the rice cake makes from fermented rice that why’s it tastes a little it sour but I don’t think so cause other banh cuon restaurants that I ate before never tasted like that. TayHo may cook the rice cake fresh everyday but they don’t have a good rice cake recipe.

I tried this place today because I was so craving for a pho. The atmosphere of the store was pretty good, but the seats are very limited. Only one table in the middle of the store which looks to me quite odd, and there are plenty of bar sits in the corner of the store. They got a B from Health inspection, hopefully they do better for next time to get an A. Now, let's talk about the food. I got 2 Phos and one spring roll with grilled pork. First of all, the taste of the pho was good it has a nice cozy flavor and good amount of noodles and bean sprouts were provided. But, there was something missing in the soup, I was guessing lack of herb. Secondly, The meats were nice. They were tender and flavorfull. I got meatballs and boneless and brisket, and they were tender, but if you let your brisket too long, they get hard little fast, so make sure to have briskey first if you are going to have it in your pho. And srping roll is spring roll, you can't go wrong with it. Lastly, and it is for the workers, make sure to double check the order. I got my order wrong, one of my dish was with bone-in not boneless. Other then that, it was great, but as I mentioned some flavors were missing from the pho. Therefore,...
