Worse feeling of discrimination ever, little kid @ counter with attitude takes my order tell em cook it a few minutes extra, told em cooked well please.. he acknowledged & said ok so it comes raw cheese not even melted & it was super doe'y. Took it back told them it was raw I would like a new one said with attitude, we'll let me see what I can do about it.. started walking the pizza to thee oven & I told em please don't throw it back in thee oven it won't cook right I would like a new one, kinda yelled back @ me saying yeah okay, so I walk away not saying anything cause I'm not trying argue with someone over something opposite of what I clearly asked for. So waiting @ the table about 30 minutes before pizza came back eating mojo potatoes I tell my buddy, (damn I swear they used to be thicker & larger) he agreed so we finish em with the delicious chicken. As I get up to go get a refill I look @ the tables around us & boy the difference between the mojo's we had & they had was so upsetting I wanted a refund but only had 1 left before I noticed SMH so pizza comes 30 minutes later & this time it was cooked perfectly but very very light on the pizza sauce even more upset now I couldn't finish that 1 slice SMH never again coming here.

Pizza buffets are pretty nostalgic, so in our travels, when we see one, we try it. Plus, we thought it'd be a quick stop, and we could get back on the road. This was not quick. This was an hour long stop before we kinda just gave up. When we got there right after opening, there was one pizza on the buffet, and it was pepperoni. The next one came out after about 15 min, pepperoni again. Finally, a third pizza ham and peppers. Then, a pepperoni. The next was a Hawaiian, and then, you guessed it, a pepperoni. They were spaced so far apart that there were rarely more than 2 pizzas on the buffet. It's not really a pizza buffet if there aren't different types of pizza. There were other food options, a salad bar with no cheese, fried chicken (dark meat only 😕), mashed potatoes, pasta, rice, and fried potatoes. Nothing I would have considered eating at a pizza buffet for lunch. We finally just left because it had been an hour. The pizza is actually decent, so it was extra disappointing not to get to try a variety of pizzas.

Horrible service by a kid Armando, needs to learn the concept creating business not just taking money. I will never come back and will tell others to avoid, your money will be better at round table pizza in chino. I show pictures of the over proceed and over cooked footed. We brought 4 kids and the spend about $40 and got 80 ticket s which is not much and they Would need 100 tickets for a small ring. I asked Armando to help them with a few tickets and he said no, he will not negotiate, so, for 20 tickets are you willing to lose a customer, that just spent $73 in food and $40 in game. You decide. Or please a customer so they come back to spend more again. Need to hire a more conscious business oriented individual. Be smart not greedy

I’m a late-comer to the Shakey’s experience and didn’t grow up having the nostalgia like some people mention. However, I’ve come to enjoy Shakey’s, specifically the one on Philadelphia in Chino (Chino-Ontario border). The manager Mario is super friendly and accommodating and all the staff are always pleasant every time we’ve been. We’ve gone a few times for the “Bunch of Lunch” and it’s a great deal. The fried chicken is amazing! I don’t know what they use to fry their chicken but the skin is crispy and perfectly seasoned and the meat is always juicy. Most recent visit on a busy Saturday, they had a few different types of pizza including a dessert s’mores pizza. Their mojo potatoes are also very yummy. And you can’t go wrong with a classic salad bar. Everything seemed restocked quick, hot and fresh. I have mostly focused on the chicken, pizza, potatoes and salad so I can’t say much about the other buffet offerings but my husband was enjoying their mashed potatoes. Pitcher of cold beer plus chicken, pizza, mojo potatoes…it’s a win all around. Somewhere between 4 to 5 stars for food because they don’t have the best pizza, but they have very good pizza and amazing chicken! Can get crowded and noisy on a weekend, to be expected…looks like a great place to have a family party (with a small...

The food was alright, a bit pricey for what its worth, but that wasnt the issue. The problem is how dirty the restaurant was, the floor was really sticky, the dining room rug floor was extremely dirty and there was multiple tables stacked with dirty plates. I was there for a little over an hour and thankfully one older employee, who's name i unfortunately didn't get a name of, came to pick up as well help some customers and bring the food. The best way i can describe him is that he was short, not bald but almost, and really nice. Another employee came out to clean the sticky floor too. Unfortunately the real problem was the lazy inattentive teenage kids who were "working" there, while i was waiting to order my food the two employees, one a girl and the other a boy, were just talking to eachother and ignoring a customer. On top of that when they weren't busy at all they both just talked and joked at the counter instead of helping around with the mess which would've been far worse if the other employees didn't step up and do their part and then some. In all honesty the restaurant would be better off without...
