For context: we ordered a Filet Mignon w/ Mushroom and Red Wine Sauce and a Surf & Turf with Scallops. First off, the sides caught us off guard, as they only offered beans and rice and steamed vegetables. Something that accompanied the main dish better would have been appreciated and we ended up ordering an additional side of French fries which we must say, were extremely good but also overpriced at $4 for a handful. The drinks we ordered (Mojito and G&T) were delicious, although they forgot the Coconut in the mojito. The service was very good and while they were running behind, we were kept up to speed on the status of our drinks and meals. Finally, the main courses lean heavily on spices and seasonings, almost too much. The meat of the NY Strip, Scallops and Filet were incredibly plain and were carried heavily by the sauces and seasonings. The initial flavor is incredible until you chew it (and chew it you do) for a while and realize there’s nothing under the veil of sauce and spices on top. Maybe other options are better, we were just not completely satisfied with our choices, especially at the triple digit price tag.

We stopped for lunch on a Saturday without understanding that this is a Mexican Seafood restaurant. A pleasant surprise! There is a small bar in front by the entry which would be great for a quick happy hour drink. There are A lot of seafood options which is hard to find. My husband had the mussels and loved them, large mussels and a big serving. We shared the calamari and it was tasty with a medium weight batter and flavorful dipping sauce. I had the pulled chicken tacos which were seasoned with Mexican spices. The beans were flavorful but the rice was pretty plain. One thing to note, for Mexican food, the spice level is low, like Midwest Nice, not very spicy. We definitely plan to come back for dinner to try the sea bass.

I cannot say enough great things about this place. Its become one of my favorites. I love to start off my meal with buzo nachos. They are simply the best nachos I have ever had! I could fill up on one of those but choose to share. My favorite meal is the calamari steak made with a flavorful lemon caper sauce. I also suggest the blackened tuna salad. This little place in historic downtown Chippewa Falls, WI is definitely a hidden gem. This last time I had a swordfish burrito I had them make into a chimichanga and mom had the lobster linguine. This place never disappoints us.

Came to eat here today. 9/18/2020 with my brother. Waitress asked us to Lower the volume on our Phone. Telling us the people next to us we’re going to be uncomfortable with the loud noise on our phone. I mean how loud can a phone get. Besides they were sat pretty close to us even with Covid Cases. Something they are clearly not paying attention to. The place was empty to be placed anywhere else. We were sat first. She told us because she knows the way they are. If she knew than why didn’t she placed them on a different table. She also called the manager and she said if it was a problem we could sit somewhere else. I was surprised! Overall food is not as good for the high prices. Not the biggest thing. But I think that was really rude and if they know there clients than they could of placed them on another area to avoid any inconvenience. Food is pricey for what you really get. Calamari had Old looking lettuce. And the portion you get for the price is awful. Not coming back! But I warrantee less clients...

Came on a Saturday evening for my birthday. Ambiance was nice and smelled great! Ordered Moscow mules and one was completely clear and the other was pure ginger beer. Ordered calamari for $12 which is typical and was excited for this appetizer. Was let down by a very small portioned plate with old lettuce bed and small over fried pieces of calamari. Ordered the Seafood pasta off the special menu. While the Seafood it's self was decent, the pasta was overcooked and had a thick grease for sauce. Disappointing meal over all. Thought I could finish strong with the fried ice cream. The fried ice cream was covered with stale corn flakes. The fried ice cream flavor was there but was extremely chewy. I think the worst part is that our waitress did not ask us how our meal was not once. She asked if we needed boxes for our full plates and we respectfully declined. She just took our plates and brought the check. Underwhelming to say the least and quite pricey for what you get. Can't say I'll be driving 30...
