I went to this Mcdonald on 1110 3rd St, Chula Vista, CA 91911. I was ordering for my grandma (who is disabled and uses a wheelchair to move around) and my mom. They are both seniors. I went through the drive thru and ordered two senior decaf coffee, two apple pies, two chicken sandwiches. When I got to the pay window, the employee saw me and said he has to charge me regular price on the decaf coffees. I told the employee that I am ordering these decaf coffee for my grandma and my mom who are seniors. The employee said that it was company policy that the employee has to see the senior citizens in the car. I told him I can facebook FaceTime with my grandma and my mom which I did and the employee saw them on my phone live and in real time. The employee said they have to be in the car. What does McDonald's do with their uber eats order then? I told the employee that my grandma is disabled. The employee said it was company policy and THAT IF HE GAVE ME THE SENIOR DECAF COFFEE PRICE THAT MCDONALD'S WILL TAKE IT FROM HIS PAY. I told him I don't care anymore that I am not going to make a big deal out of a few dollars and I TOLD THE EMPLOYEE THAT HE DID NOT HAVE TO LIE TO ME. The employee persisted on his lie that McDonald will dock his pay and that he will get in trouble. I told him to stop lying to me. He said he will call his manager. The manager came and told me the same lie, but when she saw my grandma and my mom on the Facebook FaceTime, the manager changed her decision and said she will give it me at the senior discount just this one time. I TOLD HER I DON'T CARE ANYMORE AND THAT I AM NOT GOING TO MAKE A BIG DEAL ABOUT 3 DOLLARS AND THAT I AM WILLING TO PAY THE REGULAR PRICE. The manager started to contradict herself and said that they have charged me the senior coffee and they are okay with that. I said that's fine and I drove to the pickup window. This was the WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD AT MCDONALD'S FOR $11. How do they treat their senior citizen customers who order through Uber eats, does the cashier have to see them? That's why I told the employee TO STOP LYING. I DIDN'T CARE ABOUT THE COST, I CARED ABOUT THEIR INTEGRITY. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS AT THIS LOCATION. THE COFFEE, APPLE PIES, AND CHICKEN SANDWICH TASTED BLAND. BAD EMPLOYEES, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, BAD FOOD. I WHOLEHEARTEDLY DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING TO THIS LOCATION. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Read moreProbably the worst McDonald's in Chula Vista. Ordered thru their mobile app they push so hard in their advertising. Completed order on their app, pulled into spot #3 and checked in for that spot as directed to by the app. App said the food would be out to my car in about 5 minutes or so. 5 minutes go by, no food. No biggie tho, they're busy. 10 mins, still no food. 15 mins, same thing. After about 25 mins I finally go inside to check on my order. Surprise! No one knows anything about my order. Multiple employees come up to look at my phone to check what my order is and no one seems to be on the same page. Meanwhile while all this is going on, I notice a bag and a drink just sitting unattended on a back counter. Big mistake in noticing that on my part, because turns out it was my order. It was made and no one bothered to bring it out to my car After pointing out the bag, one of the employees looks into it and says, "oh this is your order, here." Now at this point, the bag has been sitting there for about 25 mins or so unattended. My order is stone cold. No way I'm taking it like that. I ask for it to be remade since it's their fault it wasn't brought out to me. One worker passes the bag to the other and they take it to the back. About a minute later the bag comes out from the back and they hand it to me. I take the food and I leave. Get to my car and take a bite and discover it was NOT remade. It's soggy, warm in some parts but cold in others. Tell tale sign that they just microwaved (or used whatever the McDonald's equivalent of a microwave is) to reheat my order. At this point, I'm just done. I accept that there's nothing they can do to fix it because none of the employees are on the same page with each other, or they just don't care enough to fix it. I doubt management will read this at all but if they do, maybe a training in customer service/customer recovery might help.
The best part of this was when an employee tried to tell me it was MY fault because I selected counter pickup instead of checking in at the spot. Nice attempt to shift the blame on the customer, except the app showed that I checked in at the parking spot.
Oh, and the soda...
Read moreThe customer service at this location is horrible. Before placing my order I politely asked if I could use the bathroom. The lady behind the counter walked away to pass a button, presumably to unlock the bathroom. However, nothing happened. I came back to the counter where the lady was helping somebody else and she saw me, but did not bother to engage with me a second time to find out if everything was ok. I had to find somebody else to help me. Upon entering the bathroom I found out that the stall to use the toilet was not lockable, they're for anybody else asking to unlock the bathroom could have just walked in on me. I came back to inform them about this maintenance issue and the lady who unlocked the bathroom for me just said "I guess it's out of order then", without offering any alternative or even acknowledging that she would let somebody know so I can get fixed
I then proceeded to place my order with the mobile app, requesting table service. When my order was ready they yelled out my name so I had to come back to the counter to pick it up. Then what the hell is the point of requesting table service? They to bring it out if you request curbside, which is surprising, because it's much further away.
This is three out of three. Not once have they ever brought my food to the table. I entered the restaurant where the service dog and table service would have really been appreciated and made things a lot easier. My couple of bucks probably won't hurt them at all, but his McDonald's no longer exists to me. My biggest complaint is not the fact that my service request was not honor this time, but the consistency in which they...
