Look Roz, I get it. Being the manager of a fast food chain isn't what you probably wanted to be but please don't take it out on me. I came in there, hoping to collect some toy story 4 toys because I'm in love with all things Disney and I love Big Macs. Seems like the perfect brand deal. So I walked up to the register when Abel begin to say something along the lines of "Hello, how can I help you?" Except he didn't get to finish, because Roz rudely interrupted him in order to get the sale, that she didn't even seem to want, I guess. So I start to say my order (2 Big Macs with no pickles) when I guess she notices I have a coupon so as I'm saying "I'll have two..." Roz cuts me off and says "Scan it". I finish my sentence "big macs with no pickles" which she replies "On both?" I say "Yes." Then she proceeds to remind me, rudely, that I can scan it by saying "You don't have to wait, scan it now". So I scan the coupon. Then I proceed to order the happy meal (because my father likes the small meal and I wanna collect the toy story toys). I ask "Do you have the toy story toys?" Which is when she gives me a death stare as if I had 3 heads, because it is apparently unfathomable to hear of a McDonald's not being perfectly in sync with their menu (oh hows that ice cream machine, oh right their are signs plastered everywhere saying it is broken, but I digress). So I ask her how many there are (because I intend on purchasing the others seperately). After giving me an indefinite answer, something along the lines of "alot", i ask her if i can purchase them separately (because with the avengers toys my McDonald's stopped selling them separately due to the high demand). Again she looker at my like I had just asked her what 1+1 was and said as angrily as possible "Yes". So I say "Okay I'll take 1 of each" with which Roz responds with "How many do you want?" After some back and forth of "I want one of each" and her finding different ways of saying "how many" she finally seems to understand and says "I have Betty Boop or whatever her name is, the aliens, and the fork thing". Now normally I wouldn't be a stickler for not knowing the names of the characters, but all she had to do is bring out each one that looks different and shown them to me, which is what she did next anyways. Then when I tell her I'll take all 3, she quickly swipes them and says "1 will be in the McDonalds happy meal, the other two will be in a bag" which was weird to me because normally the other place just lets me take them with me while I wait and doesn't put a toy in my bag, but I was just like "Cool this is how she does it so just go with flow". Due to that taking so long and feeling she wanted me out the door, I pay forgetting to order fries and apple pie (something I always get because I love the apple pies). This is where the true chaos insists and where I learned Roz doesn't follow the customer is always right mentality.
She gives us our order without saying a word. Just hands the bag and kind of looks at us to get out (even though we are the only ones in the McDonalds). Luckily, we decided to look in the bag before leaving and discovered she gave us 1 alien toy and 2 forkys. Determined to get what I paid for, I go up to Roz and tell her she gave me 2 forkys. Without asking what she gave me instead or apologizing for the mistake, Roz goes "Ughh" and snatches the toy away from me. She starts looking for the toy I missing (Bo Peep/Betty Boop according to her) and I see but am way too intimidated to say anything. So then, once again without saying a word, leaves to the back room. After being gone for a bit, Abel, once again go above and beyond at having pep in his step and wanting to help the customer, ask me what I need help with. I let him know Roz gave me two of the same toy and is looking for a replacement. She then comes back with an alien toy and slides it across the counter towards me. That's was the last straw for me so I told her I had them and need Bo when she yells at me "No i put her in the box" so I grab my food and show her and then she...
Read moreA basic happy meal, medium fry, and iced coffee order was messed up so beyond belief that they attempted to fix it twice, still left stuff out, and still I drove away with unrefridgerated yogurt and the wrong coffee. How, idk... even the manager was involved and yet this is tough stuff, I guess?
It started at the order window when the guy didnt understand that juice was an option for kids meals. Then he didnt know they had iced coffee at McDonalds. He was sure I wanted a frappuccino 🤣 because I said caramel. He kept asking about cream and I kept telling him no, I dont want it.
Then at the pick up window they hand me what is so light it looks like iced milk instead of iced coffee. I asked her what it was and she literally said, "Oh, it comes out of the machine that way." Lie. So I said "it didnt yesterday" and she got the manager and no- it says right on the cup they added 2 creams despite my order for no cream, no sugar, just one pump of caramel.
So the manager takes it and brings me a coffee even lighter and I ask again what is going on that it isnt brown. So I reiterate again: ONE ICED COFFEE WITH ONE PUMP OF CARAMEL. So she says she'll just make it bigger. I'd gladly take the small just made right tho?
They take it back and forget to give me my medium fries at all. Then bring me my drink and it's just iced coffee with no caramel and I'm over it, because now i'm being honked at like i'm the one doing something wrong here. Drive away to find out the yogurt is warm, not cold. The fries are dumped upside down in the bag they finally furnished after I had to point out it's on the receipt. Even the burger wasnt even warm. What really...
Read moreCame here for food and while waiting in the lobby, I overhear a woman that works there and this other guy, bad mouthing the guy who was ringing people up at the register and honestly publicly humiliating him in front of the customers, and I am extremely disappointed and upset that I had to witness that today because that is not professional I don’t care if you work at a fast food place you are not going to bully people and make them feel bad about themselves when they’re trying to work and make a living, especially if that’s your coworker. If a manager sees this, I need you to talk to your team and make sure that any criticism you might have for each other is kept in private because customers can hear that we all heard what you were saying and that is not OK. Second of all, the way that you were talking about your coworker clearly shows that you feel some level of superiority which if you feel that, maybe you shouldn’t be working here. This is an absolute disgrace. Learn to treat people with respect even when you think no one is listening. Stop bullying your coworkers.
The man who was ringing people up, who was being talked bad about by his coworkers was doing a good job in customer service. He was treating people with respect which a lot of of the employees at this location don’t even do to begin with. I am so sorry that he had to go...
