Almost every day I stop by for my coffee in the morning before going to work, today I had a little more time and decided to go for a long walk with my dog, stop by for my coffee and relax a little. I always order ahead from the app, tip ahead of time and pick up my coffee, sometimes I get served by someone with the best attitude and most of the time someone with a terrible attitude.
I've been given dirty looks for asking for a glass of water, sometimes my order isn't ready, other times my coffee is delivered cold, and other times they just ignore you while I wait patiently at the counter for someone to decide to hand me my coffee.
Today they lost me as a customer in that branch, I ordered my order in advance, I arrive to pick it up and they tell me that they don't have my order, after they finish making and delivering other orders they ask me to show my receipt, I prepare my phone to show it and I confirm with the barista that it is the palomar and industrial branch, I said... maybe I'm very stupid and I ordered it in another branch, after a couple more minutes they check the iPad and say: Oh! We have just received the order, we have just received it and two baristas make the comment among themselves in a mocking tone as if I had really ordered it at that moment, they prepare my coffee, they give it to me and I ask for some water to give it to my dog, I leave the branch, I take the first sip of my coffee and it was cold! How can you make fresh coffee and deliver it cold?
Terrible branch, horrible attitude of the staff and terrible service from almost the entire team.
Girls, if you don't like your job, please go do something remotely and avoid ruining clients' mornings.
Starbucks we know that you can do it better, there are excellent teams in other branches that welcome you with the best attitude, they care about delivering your order correctly and you are even happy to leave them a tip, not like in this one in Palomar where they have a terrible service and attitude.
I hope they can take this into account and change or train the staff to provide the service that Starbucks...
Read moreI've never left a negative review, but my experience was unbelievable. My co-workers and I had a 21 dollar drink order. It was one of my co-workers birthday and he asked about a free birthday pop after I told them how good they are. Oppon reaching the window and after scanning the app, the employee said the birthday didn't show in the app. My co-worker presented his Drivers License, which proved it was in fact his birthday. The employee said that information had to be in the app, so my co-worker updated the app. After scanning again, we we're told it wasn't showing up and wouldn't show up for 24 hours in their system. We asked if the manager would give a free pop since in 24 hours, it wouldn't be his birthday. I was so shocked when the manager denied a free pop after obvious proof was given over a 2 dollar item. I ended up purchasing all of us in the car a birthday pop as at this point we couldn't help but laugh at this manager for being that frugal. Again our original order was 21 dollars so its not like we didn't show up for anything other than the free pop. I'm never going to visit this Starbucks again. In times like these we should be spreading as much courtesy and kindness to one another as we can. And this Starbucks manager really did his best to ruin...
Read moreReviews are there for a reason... This morning, I had the MOST awful experience ever at the Starbucks located at the Palomar/Trolley location in Chula Vista. "Jessica" at the drive thru she was extremely rude, had a bad attitude, got frustrated when I told her the app was pretty slow, and my order was probably still not showing, her answer was: "If you just put in your order is going to take a while to show up, so you need to take your time driving to the window".. I pulled up, then she hands me my order incorrect, I bring it up to her, she just staaaared at me, as If I was stupid, took the item back, didn't even bother to apologize, then she hands me the pastry, and Jessica not shy right away asks me to hand over the wrong item back to her. I got to work, and not surprised, the drink I was given was also wrong. I got Iced Coffee instead of Iced Chai. I tried calling, obviously nobody answered the phone. Starbucks strives to provide excellent customer service, today was definitively the exception. Management needs to re educate employees like "Jessica" she was NOT doing me a favor by going there, last time visiting...
