Update: The manager of this location has reached out to me in an attempt to make this right. Because of this i have modified this to 3 stars because I am very impressed with the way she handled this. When I return, I will update the review again accordingly.
To start off, I enjoy Zaxby's. The food is always really good, and the restaurant is usually clean. This was my first time in this particular location. The tables were a MESS. Customers were having to clean off their own tables, which were covered in trash and spilled sauce. We had ordered two adult meals and two kids meals, for dine-in. Once my order was called, I grabbed my order and went and sat down. I realize we were missing one of our kids meals, which is no big deal, accidents happen. I go to the counter and this is when I met an employee that really made me mad. Her name is Aubree. Aubree asked if she could help me and I informed her that I was missing a kids meal. Aubree then tells me that I am not, and she personally placed the kids meal in the bag. I informed her it is not there. She then proceeded to argue with me to the point where I made her walk over and check my order herself at the table. She had the audacity to double down and say she put it in there and sounded accusatory, as if my wife and kids were hiding the kids meal in an attempt to pull a fast one. My wife even had to get involved and say it's not there... After some back and forth, Audree finally walked to the counter and lo and behold, behind the counter is a lone kids meal bag. She asks another employee to hand it to her, she turns to me and goes "HERE!" and pushes it into my hand, and walks off.
Between the mess and that employees attitude, I won't be returning to this particular location for...

I first went to Zaxbys a handful of years ago. I had lived in the north until recently so I didn't get to try it again since the first time. Maybe it was location or the quality just went down but my goodness... It took 2 cashiers to understand our order. We had to alter it slightly because I have a dairy allergy. This is unheard of apparently, they both looked at us like we were aliens. I couldn't have the standard sauce with my chicken so instead of subbing the sauce they nixed it then unchanged us for nondairy sauce. My breaded boneless wings were 75% breading at $1+ per wing. It was $7 for 5 bread nuggets. My partners meal was old and cold. The fries were soggy with oil, cold, and over seasoned. Their buttered bread had sat so long the butter was solid again. There were swarms of fruit or drain flys covering the two jugs of tea. The fried pickles were mushy and drenched with oil. They were so salty my mouth hurt after. Despite being charged for sauce at all, they forgot all of it as well as the soda that came wifh the meal. Had to ask to get it. There was a lone, crumpled, black sock, hanging out between the bathroom doors. The bathroom stall wouldn't lock, I had to lift the door so the hinges would line up. There was no hook on the stall door, broken off. On top of it, 2 SMASHED ROACHES, left in the stall.
I know prices are going up while quality is going down but why did I even bother coming here? I received so little for almost $30 and it made me sick with how oily and gross it was. If this is the standard, I wouldn't recommend this chain to anyone, muchless fast food in general.

We pulled into the drive thru at 9:40 and asked if they were still open and the worker said "we have 30 minutes" so we proceeded to place an order. We pay for our order and they tell us to pull up to the "yellow line" we do. We noticed another car pull up and we saw them get pulled into a parking spot and then get their food soon after that. At this point it is 10pm. Still nothing!! At about 10:07pm I called to ask if they forgot about us and the lady on the phone said "no we are dropping the food fresh" another 10 minutes pass and another worker comes out to say they are closed and looked very confused as to why we were parked at the yellow line. We showed him the receipt and he immediately went Inside and said "I got you" another few minutes pass and we see a group of workers leave and go to their cars so at that point my mom went inside to see what was going on since it was 10:20 at this point... they tell my mom they are sorry and would throw in free cookies and extra goodies for the inconvenience (if you call extra ranch packets goodies) not even 2 minutes later we get our food ... the chicken tender basket was cold and stale after being told they were going to "drop fresh"and the lettuce in the salads were brown and wilted. I don't recommend coming to Zaxby's the hour before close unless you want to be forgotten and end up with cold old food.
