There should be an option for zero stars. The manager Elza and the other manager along with their employees who were clocked in around 1:30 - 2:00 pm on 10/5/2025 were extremely unprofessional rude and racist. I made an order at the kiosk for $16.26 but the kiosk told me to go to the front and pay again. I was already charged, so I just wanted my meal. I was respectful and patient.
I went to counter waiting for someone to acknowledge me, which they did not until I said excuse me. I explained to the first manager that I paid for my meal and then the kiosk asked me to go to the front again and pay. I showed them that my card was charged. I did not want to pay twice for only one order. She left me at the front and continued to service other people while leaving the pay option as if I was just going to pay again.
She continued to walk to the counter ignore me and speak to the other customers. I then asked one employee for another manager because at that point I was upset with the lack of service. The manager Elza completely ignored me when I requested for her and continued to walk past me. The employees began laughing at me when I was visibly upset and made comments calling me ghetto and mayate (derogatory term for black people). At that point I was shaking with anger and asked for Elza again. When I explained to her the situation of being ignored and the unprofessionalism on top the payment error, Elza dismissed me and told me I need to pay because it's not showing the system that I paid. I told her I already paid and did not want to pay twice. Elza said I need to come back tomorrow if im charged twice and her employees continued to laugh. I complained about the other manager and Elza response was "she does not speak english", when she was clearly speaking and I understanding English when taking other orders. I felt extremely angry and embarrassed. I was so angry at their actions that I paid for the meal AGAIN and left. Judging by the other comments this is not their first rodeo with their behavior. Was Approached By Maria The Store Manager and Was Told That I Couldn’t Sit Inside The Store Without Ordering At Which Point I Began Recording. I Agreed That I Would By A Breakfast Combo In Order To Maintain My Shelter From The Hot Sun. I Approached The Counter All While Still Recording and Waited To Be Serviced. She Just Stood There Looking At Me Blankly So I Asked If She Could Take My Order. To That She Responded “Huh” As If She Couldn’t Understand. I Asked Again In a Slower Louder Manor and She Then Became Offended and Said I Was Being Hostile With Her. I Informed Her That I Was Recording Our Entire Interaction And At That Point She Became Enraged. Telling That I Couldn’t Record Throwing Her Hands At Me and Saying I Had To Get Out and That She Was Calling The Police Because She Didn’t Want To Be Recorded. At This Point I Reminded Her That In The State Of Illinois Is It Lawful and Legal For Me To Record Anyone On A Clock and In Uniform On a Job! She Then Called The Cicero Police Faking An Emergency Telling Them That I’m Hostile and That She Is Scared And Come Quick! Why Because I’m Black? I Literally Weigh 108lbs At 30 years old! What Threat Did I Pose By Recording and Trying To Purchase a Meal? Once They Arrived She Then Tried To Have Me Banned From The Property Which Took Up Almost An Hour and 30 Minutes Of My Day and Caused Me To Miss So Much. I Was So Stressed Out and Embarrassed By The Manager Of This Location and I Hope She Is Fired Once Corporate Reviews The Footage and See What Kind Of...

I love Wendy’s breakfast but I think I won’t be returning based on this experience. So first I asked for jelly at the window. When they brought me my bag…no jelly!! I drove back around to get some jelly only to be met with no apology for my inconvenience. Then the ultimate disrespect, as I went in for the 2nd bite of my sandwich there was a long, straight dark black string of hair in my sandwich!!!!! I whipped my car back around for the 2nd time and went inside to be met with an even more rude manager I believe her name was Mariecela! This woman had a scowl on her face the moment I walked in. Then she shoved money in my had, said sorry as she was walking off, she never even made any eye contact! By this time I AM HEATED! I said ma’am no I want my entire meal refunded. She says we’ll go get the drink too.. which I did get it out of my car only for her to throw it in the trash!!! I said that’s very petty! Do you know this lady tried to accuse me of sabotaging my own food!!!! Ma’am the texture of my hair is NOT straight nor is the cooks hair straight so how about you figure out how this long straight hair ended up in food from your establishment.
