Dojo Gelato at Findlay Market is a good stop for anyone seeking a sweet break from the bustle of the Market. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is fun and inviting, and the gelato is always fresh and delicious. Their delightful flavors satisfy classic cravings while also offering fun, creative options. One stand-out treat you don’t want to miss is the Apocalypse Cow sundae—smooth, rich, and topped with unforgettable finishing touches that make it the perfect cool refreshment after a busy day of shopping. Whether you're a local or just visiting, Dojo Gelato promises a memorable dessert experience that will have you planning your next visit before you even leave. Parking seems easiest at the lot one block south of Findlay Market.

A contender to Graeter’s uncontested “Best ice cream in Cincinnati” title? Dojo ice cream is handcrafted, from scratch. Fresh gelati and sorbetti is created every day in their kitchen with growth-hormone-free milk from Ohio and, whenever possible, produce from local farmers. Never any artificial flavorings or extracts. Michael, the owner, studied traditional gelato techniques with Italian pastry masters in New York City. He also attended Penn State's legendary Ice Cream Short Course at the Berkey Creamery. Prepare to be in a treat.

Pretty convinced they sprinkle crack and msg in their ice cream. This ice cream is straight up addicting. I do have to give it to Dojo. They have the best flavors and combinations. And they change pretty consistently too. [I will say I do enjoy Graeters "Ice Cream" for the textural/consistency aspect more than Dojo's "Gelato"; but I do think Dojo "taste" better than Graeters.] Pretty much whatever you get from here is gonna be amazing. I can vouch for it. [Cardi B pictured below**]

Today I made my first visit to Dojo! I love the atmosphere of Findlay Market, so that gets them off to a good start. I have to say I went in with high expectations...and that might be why I ended up being disappointed. I was told by friends and saw on their Facebook page that they usually have very unique flavors, but I guess I went in the wrong day.

I sampled the Salted Caramel first - the flavor didn't have quite enough depth to pull off the sweetness. I sample the pumpkin and it was pretty nice. I sampled the Dark Chocolate and it was very yummy, but I didn't want to go with such an everyday flavor. When I asked what flavors were the most popular, I was the Salted Caramel, Dark Chocolate and Coffee. So, I gave the coffee a try and it was by far the best! I ended up taking home a pint of Pumpkin and Coffee.

Over all I was pretty pleased with the quality of the gelato, I just had different flavor expectations. Definitely worth a visit in case they switch up the...

I love this gelato so much that I make my partner take me there for breakfast multiple times a week. I usually get three flavors in a cake cone. My favorites are the Vietnamese coffee, which is very creamy and rich in flavor, and the Dutch chocolate which is smooth and yummy.

The service is awesome. I look forward to seeing the owner and kind staff and enjoying the delicious treat to start my day.

I use an app called Finch, one of the things it suggests to me each day is to do something I love, and my answer is often getting gelato from this place. I'm just really thankful for Dojo Gelato and the joy it brings to my mornings. It's literally like a tradition for me to go there. And my week doesn't feel...
