I had been curious and looking for the right weekend to check out Knox Joseph for a while. Long story short, the right time is now!

As a mostly bourbon drinker, I only wish I had done this sooner. I am a bourbon snob and still was surprised at how good their 2 bourbons and 1 american whiskey both were.

The cask strength bourbon is definitely their flagship product, and if that's what you're in the market for, frankly at $18 a pour ($60 a bottle on-site), it's a deal for a high quality, barrel proof bourbon.

I briefly got to meet their head distiller, Taylor, and he is extremely knowledgeable and also openminded. I am excited to see where he takes it.

I would also add that my bartender, Clair, was one of the best I've ever seen in this neighborhood and this city overall.

Definitely swing by and check it out.

They also have a food truck serving standard bar food. I didn't get to try it this time, but I look forward to it...

It is a little hidden as the road to it feels like your going into a industrial area alley. The outside renovation when summer hits will be great a lot of area with seating ground level and elevated. No view though. Inside is very clean and not crowed at all as you are spaced out. Giant bar with a lot of seating. There house spirits are good 2 gins, vodka and whiskey. The Golden gin was my favorite. They brew beers too. Many styles are represented so you can find something. The German pilsner was good as was imperial stout. Food ramen noodles were good and nice portion size. Waygu beef appetizer was tasty and nice portion. Staff was friendly and imformative about there business and area. Nothing I tried was bad or below average. Nothing I tried was excellent. It was all good some very good. With the many options you will find something in form of drink and food. ...

I’m sorry but I don’t know where else to write this review and it’s not towards the distillery itself but they were hosting the event. Came here to see the Beyonce Drag show. Doors were supposed to open at 7 but the cast was still rehearsing, fine no worries, they started letting people in at 7:10. The showtime was supposed to be at 7:30. This guy came out at 7:55 and said the cast was still getting ready and that the show would begin soon, feel free to use the dance floor until the show starts which no one proceeds to do. It’s extremely unprofessional to advertise a ticketed timed event and on a Sunday when people work the following day and not start on time. Waited until 8:40 and finally gave up and left after continuously being told it was starting soon. Like who the hell does this cast think they are, Beyoncé and her actual back up dancers lol, unreal how professional...

EVENT VENUE REVIEW: I recently hosted a mid-sized event for a small-business client at Knox Joseph Distillery and had an awesome experience. Coordinating with their team was a breeze and they worked with us to accommodate both our needs and our budget. We hosted around 150 people for an educational offering and our speakers were easily seen and heard from their large stage. Guests gave positive feedback about the onsite catering from Madd Mark's, and the free parking is definitely a plus (although you will need to give detailed direction on where to park and how to get into the venue, as it's not exactly obvious). If you're looking for an out-of-the-box event venue with great drinks, atmosphere, staff, free parking and plenty of space, I'd recommend checking them out!

We had our company Christmas party here today. Great spot. Looks like a great summer spot. Also karaoke....I'd clear the room. I have a great sense of direction. However, hard to find. May I make a suggestion? If the city allows you to post signs in the neighborhood...KNOX > GO HERE. Or put very detailed directions on your website. Example, "Coming from the north on Dunlap, turn right to Henry Street. It looks like an alley......" Also say something about your parking lot. People from the burbs hate to pay for parking...silliness but a reality. Great pilsner beer. I would have tried more, but it was a work function with a drive home...the bartender understood. Would you also post upcoming bands on the website?

Great patio. Shaded patio and indoor space with breezes if you want them. Food truck almost always. Streams FC games if you ask. Free parking behind bar. Great place Take this back! On a Friday night of pride month you’ve closed your gate so no one can get in on Central. After walking around a full block to get to the back entrance (which no one driving can find by the way, too few and small signs). I’m told there’s a cover tonight. No one is there! I was going to buy multiple drinks and entice as many friends as possible to come out! But I’m not paying a cover for the privilege of being the only person there. I love that you’re the only lesbian owned bar in Cincy! But instead, I hiked back to my car and I guess I’m off home.
