I'm friends with the owner and I've yet to try his restaurant out but I wanted to make today the day to do and I'm glad i did!! I was greeted warmly by the gentleman working there and I mentioned to him that it was my first time. He then proceeded to give me the full run down of what sort of food is served. Very knowledgeable! When I told him I was wanting to try out the new Flammabowl he gave me a small sample of the sauce just to see if I wanted to have it on my Insatiabowl AND IT IS INDEED A VERY DELECTABLE SAUCE!! I immediately made my decision! Afterwards he told me that there will be a food truck at the Clifton fest which I may check out! The food is very welcoming and light on the stomach! An equal balance of all of the ingredients mixed into one bowl. Rest assured I will be a returning customer!!

I was really surprised by this place. Hipster location, only one item on the menu, and no real place to go- just a stand. But wow, delicious. They are a walk up style place, with nothing but a window to order from, some wooden popsicle stick forks, and a two person table the size of a pizza pan. They offer one "item" with nine parts. Seven of nine are vegan, and I had them with all seven. The large, or Big Bowl, is only $6. It isn't huge, but a decent portion, and mildly filling (I eat a LOT). The only disappointment was the employee. He looked like he hated his life, and had zero enthusiasm or charisma. I wasn't expecting high fives and cartwheels, but he had the same energy level as Windows Speech, with as few words used as possible.

The Whole Bowl is an incredibly simple, but delicious concept. They only have one main entree...a bowl made with rice and beans with a short list of toppings. It is a relief to not have to think too hard about what you want. I found the bowl to be incredibly filling, yet in a I feel good about myself kind of way. Their ingredients are all wholesome and they customize your bowl so fast it is hard to believe you are eating something healthy. The tali sauce is absolutely awesome and I'd highly recommend asking for extra. They also have beverages and sides for those wanting to fill out the meal.

I recently moved to the greater Cincinnati area and while searching for new favorite spots in the area I came across whole bowl. This cute walk-up window may not seem like much but it packs a flavorful punch. Their slogan "It's like eating a hug" is so accurate. It's got to be the tali sauce, I need to learn how to make that at home. The Whole Bowl has been my go to stop since I found it a few months ago. I would love to check out their other location in Portland. I always get my bowl vegan-ished. Today, we went there for lunch and surprisingly found a line of 4 people. It was surprising for them to take so long and generate such long line. I think the guy is new, hopefully he gets...
