This is the Second Yard House I’ve been to, I’d rate 3/5, the first one was in San Antonio Texas I’d give a 10/5 if I could.

I ordered the Korean Steak and Fries to go, the placed both the steak and fries together in the same container, while my friend they put in separate containers for the fries and steak, my problem was the steak sauces mixed with my fries flavor mixing the 2, the first yard house I went and got to go they put the steak and fries in separate container which I LOVED.

Overall the steak was ordered rare, but it came rare rare lol, it’s fine, the steak was pretty fatty tho and only about half was actually edible. Still that’s fine, the lower rating comes from the steak not having enough sauce on it at all, lowering the flavor quality, the fries came and again barely has any sauce and toppings, after eat the first few top fries everything under was just a regular fry no sauce or parm garlic nothing, just salted fries. The last was the fries were about 2 handfuls, for the price I was left unsatisfied fully..

In San Antonio Yard House the steak came and was soaked in sauce it was dripping off as I was eating and I could dip the steak in some of the extra sauce, the flavor was amazing having the extra sauce, the fries they came maxed to the top of my container I was unable to eat all of them with the amount given and shared with a friend I was amazed with the quantity they really filled the container and made sure I felt my portions were right for the price, the fries were layered in sauce and the added flavoring even after eating the top fries all the bottoms still were covered in flavor I felt like I went to heaven with the amount of flavoring inside the steak and fries.

Overall, I have loved the yard house and the Korean Steak meal, but with the experience from both I will be sure next time to ask for extra sauces on everything and mention I want it basically drenched in flavor, il see how they do then, overall I give this place a 3/5 due to the low amount of sauces used, my fries not being completely filled in the container like previously and last the fact the mixed my steak and fries together. While previously it was in separate containers and my friend who ordered with me got his in separate containers.

Very friendly staff,...

Was here about 2 weeks ago. There was a reds game but the place had cleared out by the time we came in to meet the rest of our group. Within 60 seconds we had used the electronic thing on the table to signal that we wanted to order drinks. 5 minutes later, we put in a food order. About 10 minutes after that the food came. The runner literally tossed it on the table and kept going before I could ask them to send us a server to get us drinks. The chips were stale but the dip was actually excellent. I'd waved at several of the wait staff, who were almost all just standing around chatting with one another. Finally, after having to basically yell to get the attention of a server passing by the table, they said they would send our server over. 5 minutes later they showed up (over 20 minutes after we sat down) and when I said we'd already eaten and were going to head out - basically it was too late - she walked away without even acknowledging what I had said, nevermind an apology for the poor service. Having worked service for plenty of years, this is clearly a management issue. They institute electronic ordering at the table, which i understand, but that's not a substitute for actual person to person service, especially when a human has to take orders for alcohol. If managers aren't properly educating, training and monitoring staff, this type of service is what happens. I don't think I have ever left a 1 star review. The reason is that I always assume when service or food is poor, that it is likely an isolated incident. I always give the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, this is not the first or even third time I have had horrendous service at yardhouse. Two weeks ago was the 4th or 5th time I have been to yardhouse, and unfortunately each time has been remarkable in terms of how poor either the service or the food was. I've had food arrive cold and dried out, while my beer was warm and musty smelling. I've had the wrong beer brought twice, resulting in it taking over 30 minutes to get the correct drink to me. But even all of that wouldn't earn a single star... It's really the fact that staff was fairly rude, especially after I'd done so much to try and make their job as easy as it...

Our party included 17 people, including 5 young children (average age of 6), and a senior citizen in a wheelchair. There were no problems with accessibility involving the wheelchair. The service was very friendly and attentive, however, with a large number of children in our group it became apparent that the restaurant experience is not aimed at families with young children. That means that the small things that help improve the experience for parents of those young children are overlooked. These are subtle things that parents learn to appreciate. Many restaurants provide crayons and an activity page, paper napkins (for spills; we had 3 this visit), a footstool or lower sinks in the restroom to aid with the washing of little hands, well lit restrooms (the Yard House men's room is surprisingly dark), and quick service of the drinks and appetizers to help soothe hangry kids and keep them occupied so the adults can have a conversation. The Yard House experience is primarily planned for adults without children, but they do offer a children's menu (see accompanying photos). The food selections for the kids are not health focused, but the kids in our group liked their food well enough. The adults reactions on the food were mixed. Everyone said the food was acceptable, except the oldest member who was displeased with the fish and chips being served with a spicy tartar sauce. She didn't know a regular tartar sauce was available. One of the primary reasons to go to the Yard House is the atmosphere and view. Located downtown on the river, the views are pretty and the atmosphere is very active. This was our fourth visit and I expect we'll visit again before we head to a ball...

Everytime I go to yard house I ask myself why did we come here. They have a great bar, in the summer the outside seating is great, lots of TV’s if you want to catch multiple games, but the food…..ugh. Got a burger, how can you destroy a burger?? With a bun that tasted like it had been frozen and thawed, size is small! It looks like a post pandemic “we need to save money so we shrunk our food” burger. The burger was not over cooked but did have some charring and tasted burned on the outside. Side of sweet potato fries, came out mid level temp, soggy, some were flat out shriveled (like my appetite when I saw my food) a bag of frozen cooked at home would be just as good. And the pickle?? Just look at the picture. Who even plates a pickle that looks like that?! Why bother? Throw it away and get me a real pickle! They should get a deal with Grillos since the pickle is the crème de resistance of any burger meal! But again….its the whole mentality that this place is mass producing food for the location and not because they care about their food, flavor, how it’s cooked, or the integrity of what they serve. Go for a drink, enjoy the ambiance, take in a game. Don’t eat the food.
