I am pretty much obsessed with this place right now.... To the tune of going three times in one week! My friend had mentioned the Columbus location to me before, so I was pretty excited to hear they were opening a location in Condado. I'm a self proclaimed taco aficianado, and this place did not disappoint. I've lucked out each time I've gone, and despite the place being pretty packed, we never had to wait to be seated. I imagine that on weekend nights this could be a different story, but weeknights and early dinner on Saturday both proved to be decent timing for me. I love utilizing the sushi style menu to order tacos. It's like I challenge myself each time to create an even better taco than the time before! The sweet Lucy taco shell combo (soft and hard shell taco with a queso and guacamole) has quickly become my favorite. Thertion sizes are generous, and I found the tacos to be much more filling than the competition (ie Bakersfield and Nada). Pricing is decent, especially got the amount of food you get, so no complaints there. I'm over the moon about the margarita flights ( I mean seriously, who wouldn't be thrilled about margarita flights?!). I'm all for presentation, and the mini mason jars that the margaritas are served in are adorable. I especially like how customizable the flavors are. My favorite combo has been strawberry banana!! I'm always thrown off a bit at restaurants where the servers and staff aren't easily recognizable by their attire, and this is no exception with the staff all wearing street clothes, though I found the servers to be very attentive and they have all offered great recommendations on my visits.. My friends and I don't venture down to the banks very often, but Condado will be seeing a lot of me in the future, especially since they are open so late to satisfy my late night taco cravings!! I love the decor with all of the day of the dead inspired artwork. There's just an overall cool vibe to the establishment.

We are a family who likes to travel, and we were passing through Cincinnati on our way back to Tampa, Fl. We decided to stay the night at the AC Hotel on the Banks. After explored the city we were hungry from all the walking and drinking we did at a brewery. It was a Sunday evening and everything was closing—so we found it was right under our room at the hotel and decided to give it a try. Holeeee gawd, this place was booming with business on a Sunday! Music was booming out into one of those roads that became closed forever so people can walk between bars and restaurants establishments. It operates on the shadow and glow of the Cincinnati Baseball Hall of Fame. I could see why it was busy! The decor was amazing and the music was bumping. We ended up ordering a build your own nachos (steak with cilantro and onions. Smoked cheddar cheese and the avacado ranch sauce). We also ordered some tacos: my wife had a sweet spice something or other and some other cool choice. I had the Braised & Confised and the Purple Haze. Hooooo man my choices were amazing! Each taco was built to house powerful flavor profiles. This place pontificates flavor! The Beaised and Confused had an amazing braised brisket topped with feta, tomatoes, and table pickled red onions. It was moist, tart, and meaty. Oooooomame! The purple haze was sweet, had a great texture constraint with both a hard shell and a soft shell housed within each other. It was minimally spicy but packed a punch. The nachos were amazing as well but the tacos were heaven wrapped in taco shells. Katie Penas (I believe) Was our server and was super cool and knowledgeable. She definitely came across as knowing what she really liked. Her encouragement made us take the leap on the tacos. She was awesome. I wish we could just be her friend and take her with us. All in all, a 9.5 out of 10. I will definitely return someday.

Condado Tacos started in Columbus in 2014, and now has a dozen locations spread across Columbus, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Cincinnati, with more scheduled to come soon. They specialize in a build your own taco concept where the tacos are customizable in toppings, proteins, and shells. The Cincinnati location occupies the southwest corner of Freedom & Joe Nuxhall Ways, directly across from Great American Ballpark. On nice days the entire walls of windows can be pushed back to really open up the restaurant space. The inside is completed covered in street art style murals, all designed and painted by local artists. My wife and I sat at the bar and were lucky enough to discover it was happy hour, Monday through Friday 4-7, with half-price margaritas and $1 off tacos. On recommendation from the bartender, we started with the El Tres Amigos, a selection of 3 salsa, quesos, and guacamoles ($15). He also let us know that he would give us the salsa verde and salsa roja at no charge with our taco orders. So we went with the traditional guacamole, the diablo queso, and the chorizo queso. The chorizo queso was really good and comes highly recommended. While the make your own taco concept was intriguing, I decided to play it safe and ordered off of their taco suggestion menu. The El Santo ($4) was my favorite I think. It's a sweet Lucy shell, which is a soft flour tortilla wrapped around a hard corn shell with queso and guac, topped with chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, queso fresco, salsa roja, and Condado Secret Sauce. I do think I will try creating my own on my next visit, which I hope is sometime soon!

I recently visited Condado at Kenwood location for my bridal shower the food and drinks were so good that I decided for my first date night as a married couple we should go Condado but the location on the Banks. What a terrible mistake that was my nachos were luke warm and soggy but I would have not issued my review based on this. I was just going to count it as the food wasn’t great and leave it be. The topper for me was my husband and I both ordered the Marg drinks. I ordered peach flavored, as I had a few at the Kenwood location and they were refreshing and so good and actually tasted like peach. The drink at the Banks location was nowhere near as tasty and had no taste of peach at all (as if it was a totally different drink). I advised the Server and she took the drink back to give to the bar. I decided to go over to the Bar to advise how my drink tasted. The Bartender for the day name was Matt with blonde hair, black painted fingernails, when I say he was the absolute worst and unprofessional bartender I have ever had in my life . I proceeded to advise him the drink doesn’t taste like peach , Matt proceeded to dump some more of this product in my drink than shew me away with his hand and then stated the area is only for employees so you need to move. I was so upset about his approach and attitude I quickly addressed Management. The Manager did attempt to make the drink over but because the service at this location was so bad I didn’t even want it. We paid for our drinks but left them on the table untouched because they were that bad and the service was horrible. We left Coronado and went to the Jefferson Social a couple doors down the drinks were awesome and The Bartender actually cared about his customers and was quite pleasant. My suggestion for Condado at The Banks is offer some custom service training to Matt. I have never met a rude and unprofessional Bartender prior to my encounter with Matt. He definitely lacks people skills and to sway someone away that is a customer is never acceptable. Condado at The Banks should remember it’s the Customers that keep them employed and one should never feel like we are bother. Definitely will stick to Condado at Kenwood they were awesome. Condado at the Banks ruined our first date night as a...

Let me start by saying we spoke to the manager before we left, and she was very understanding and did a good job handling our complaints.

Now, here's the rest of the story. We've eaten here before several times, all just prior to attending Reds games. The earlier visits went well and we enjoyed them. Today's visit was bad, because of the lack of service by our waitress. When we arrived we were quickly seated. The restaurant was maybe half full. It took maybe 5 minutes for any wait staff to acknowledge us. I thought--no big deal--they are a little busy. When she took our drink and appetizer order, she was friendly and helpful. We ordered two different full-size dips. You'd think that would include 2 baskets of chips for the 3 of us. Nope, she brought out one tiny basket. I thought, "no worries, she'll be back soon to check on us and take our order." Wrong. We quickly finished our chips, with plenty of dip left in both bowls. Then we waited, and waited, and waited. We never saw her anywhere, even though the tables around us were hers (and a neighboring table wanted their check, and they were clearly annoyed she wasn't around). After 10 minutes, she showed up again. She asked if we wanted drink refills. We said yes, and bring more chips. Oh, and we said we've been ready to order for awhile now, so she took our order. She brought back our drink refills, but no chips (and quickly walked off). About 5-8 minutes later our food came out (she brought it), but she didn't bring chips. She asked if we needed anything else, and I said "Yeah, more chips." She said something about they were coming, but at that point I'd had enough. I told her we've been here before, and this was the worst service we've had. She apologized at that point, but offered up only excuses. She indicated she would get the manager, and she did.

As I stated up front, the manager was understanding of our concerns, and offered to make it right. We accepted her offer.

The food itself was outstanding, even if the tacos are a little messy to eat!

We will probably be back, although I don't know when. Hopefully next time the service...

Food was about as basic as u could get, there's nothing special about the food. It's more like an afterthought to the bar and the vibe.

Our server was good at her job, but u could tell it's a very corporate style business and she was stuck trying to stay within her guidelines.

The atmosphere was very trendy and geared to the younger crowd. Nice and clean, but nearing 40 my husband and I stuck out like very sore thumbs. The music was good and not so loud u couldn't talk but loud enough to know it's supposed to be a hangout. Lots of screens around the place and seemed to be catering to the sports crowd, which is expected considering the location of this establishment.

Parking was a nightmare. No street parking and had to use a garage. The garage is $4 for 1 hour and $7 for 2 hours, so rates aren't awful. There was no easy way to tell where to go once we got parked, like any kind of signage on the wall to direct us to any specific area, at least that we could see. It was well lit and we did see security personnel late at night and didn't at all feel unsafe.

We did really like the area. Felt safe in general, lots of businesses and music and very well kept and clean.

Also, the art inside the bar/restaurant was really nice. Each wall has a hand painted mural and I think some parts had some stickers or decals too. It's a low lit restaurant and they use a lot of black light and neon to light up the walls. We actually really liked that part.

I think this place had the cleanest restrooms that smelled the best out of all thr places we have visited in the last 6 months. There's only a couple of toilets and it's a little tight in there but I didn't get the icky feeling when I went in amd actually felt like my hands were still clean when I left.

Overall I would recommend it to the younger folks and I didn't hate it, it just wasn't geared to us so we probably won't go back. The food wasn't good enough to warrant an extra visit but if I was in my 20s I think it would be a regular hang out for my...
