I visit this location about once every other week and the subs are great. I've even brought their "giant" sized subs to businesses that I call on. Personally, I always order the number 43 (Chipotle Cheesesteak), but yesterday I ordered the 56 by mistake. The 56 includes jalapeno peppers, which I can't eat. So after a few bites and realizing that I had made an error in my order, I politely asked the large dark-haired woman in her 20's behind the counter (who is there every time I visit) if she could please make me a number 43 instead, because I just can't eat jalapeno peppers. I then walked over to the trash can to dump the sub and I heard the woman say to her coworker that questioned why she was making a replacement sub, "this hole ordered the wrong number". When the sub was ready the woman tells her coworker at the register to charge me for the sub a second time. The woman made no mention that I would have to pay a second time (and I certainly didn't expect that would be the case). When I told the woman that I was not going to pay a second time and that instead I now wanted a refund, her coworker opened the register and placed HALF of my money on the counter. The woman said because I had already eaten half of the sub, I only get half of a refund. What??? So after listening to the employee's refer to me as "this ***hole" and then being told I would have to pay for the sub a second time, only after it was made... I was upset. I told the woman that I could tell she was definitely NOT the owner and that she doesn't know * about customer service. And what was her response? She screamed at me to leave the store. And when I said that I'd like to know who the owner is, she picked up the phone, dialed 911 and said that she needs to have a customer removed from her store. Again, what??? Now that's a new experience for me, as I've never needed a police escort to leave any business. But her efforts weren't necessary... as this location will NEVER see me or another dollar of my money ever again. And at the end of the day, when I go home to Moorestown and she goes home to Camden... we're each...
Read moreDefinitely have mixed feelings about this location. This was only my 2nd time at any of the Jersey Mike's franchises, but both times was at this location. My 1st time was ok I was briefed on how to order, got my food and left. It was a really good sub which is why I again visited. This time I walked in the young man was checking out another customer so I glanced over the menu since no one else was waiting. At the counter I speak to the young man and place my order. Another customer comes in and the same young man says "Hello welcome to Jersey Mike's what can I get for you today?" She places her order and he asked "any other sandwich for you today?" she then places another order. He asked if she was ok with everything that came on the sub, listing each item, even asked her what type of bread she wanted. After completing her order he turns to me and says "Mike's way?" Unclear what that meant, I say I'm not sure what that is. His response was" It says it right here and points to the counter. This woman was of a different persuasion and it was clearly a difference in treatment between the two of us. Customer service is definitely inconsistent and this guy left a really bad taste...
Read moreBeen coming here since this store opened. The manager, Myranda is the reason people come more often. She had left for a while and the whole atmosphere of the store was just awful. Nobody seemed happy. And since she’s been back this place is back to where it was. And that’s an awesome thing. Employees that are able to make a meh day into a fun day are hard to come by and your current manager makes that happen. Also you guys do fund raisers for the cinnaminson schools (which I work for) and your staff handles the insane amount of customers with ease. Sometimes a kind word can change someone’s whole day and Myranda has done that for me many times. A ray of sunshine. I sure hope the owners of this store realize what an amazing human and employee they have. And she’s the reason the staff is as pleasant...
