McDonald's — Restaurant in City of Albany

First and foremost this review would not allow me to give it less than one star. Now for the recent location visit. It was on Holland Avenue in Albany. The crew behind the counter were dancing. It was two girls. A couple of the others were using very foul language. I couldn't believe it. Where is the management here. The floor directly in front of the counter had trash all over it. There were cups, used napkins, food stuffs like french fries throughout the restaurant. It was like someone ransacked the place. Well you get the picture. The seating areas by the kids playing area was filthy. There was no place to sit having it be reasonably clean. The seating area near the rest rooms were the same way. The highlight to my visit was the hoodlum show, as there were nearly 10 kids, speaking terrible language and general roughhousing right there in the restaurant seating area near the kids play area. Again where is the management? I'm an older guy, but fearing for my safety when I wanted to get something to eat jeopardized that. The food itself was substandard and tasteless. The soda fountain was a breeding ground for everything bacteria. Where is the management. I'll bet no one has cleaned that area all day. This McDonald's has a camera system in place. Do you think the tapes are viewed outside of an incident that takes place? Does the management care at all about what is taking place when their backs are turned? Or just maybe, the management has the similar mentality as the people they have working there? Better yet, let's look at the ownership of the restaurant. Either they don't care what goes on there as long as the money rolls in, or they codon people rolling cigarettes on the tabletop where people are supposed to eat. What about people sleeping at the tables. No way you would want to go to the bathroom there. It was filthy at best. The two cheeseburger meal I had was just awful. The meat was very dry, and the rolls must have been left out as they were not fresh as was expected. I didn't have the saliva in my mouth needed to chew it up to swallow it. Dreadful. The french fries were neutral to this disaster. The soda dispenser had way too much carbonation as the soda flavor was extremely weak. Great business you have going on here. First, I don't like giving negative reviews...unless they fully deserve them! I am fair and not biased according to my friends, so with that being said...I have a question -- has anyone ever went to an eatery and was told that they had to hurry up and eat because the food lobby was being closed in 15 minutes?? You could still order for take-out, but you couldn't sit and eat!! This was at 2:45 PM, yes in the afternoon. Why you might ask because I did, NOT the answer I expected...she, the worker said and I am not making this up....FOR SAFETY REASONS THE FOOD LOBBY IS CLOSED!! I had already eaten 1/2 my filet-o-fish, now I am not a Mickey 'D's person unless I have kids in tow, but I was with a friend and her father who is a veteran, she had taken him to the VA for check up, we were going to eat and he wanted chicken nuggets not familiar with area I googled a search for a M-D's close to VA hospital and this is where it sent us. Only 1 mile away, 9 minutes. That's Good yes! Now inside was different, they didn't have your normal tables and chairs...wish I'd taken pictures but I can't see the future, dining area was clean minus another patron floating around area showing his stash of $1 bill's imagining he was a millionaire, bathroom was clean, servers, well if you want to know who they partied with the night before, they spoke on it in between you placing your order. Okay. Well I did not finish my meal we mutually decided...LET'S GO NOW!!! Needless to say it was different and I will not go there again!?! Sorry McDonald's I gave 3 stars because they did warn us that it's not Safe to be there at 2:45 in the afternoon. Thank You...

This place is unprofessional. They talk about you in Spanish like your not there and expect you not to say anything because they messed up with messing up orders that you can not get a refund for. They expect you to accept a store refund after messing up. They dont correct errors or have the proper cleaning materials. Their mop bucket is broke so you dont jniw if the restaurant is clean correctly. I k ow this because the person that took my order said it in front if me. Their raightibgs will consistantly be bad if they dont train their staff correctly and are not sanitary. I feel for every one work in b there. Oh and the district manager is not a help. She was the one who decided to have a conversation with the manager in spanish in front of me instead of talking in the back. Regardless if the refund was small. The staff dont know how to take orders correctly are unprofessional and dont have proper cleaning equipment and or material to keep the restaurant in proper cleanliness. I hope the francise owner sees this.. Until next time .... McDonald's golden arches has failed a long time ago. No matter how many times I go to mcdonalds there is always a problem with service or food. I xont rate them. They do not deserve a 3.2 they deserve a love rating and it needs to stay ther until their customer service experience improves. That's...
