D.P. Dough — Restaurant in City of Binghamton

We ordered using Uber Eats, and the delivery was fine. The food was awful and three of the four items weren't prepared correctly. We ordered a cheese calzone with garlic. There was no garlic and the calzone seemed to be made with a lot of American cheese. It was terrible!. My son got a buffalo calzone, and we paid for extra chicken. He got a plain cheese calzone. My husband got a salad and again we paid for extra chicken - but the amount of chicken on the salad didn't seem to be extra. If it was, the regular amount must be two pieces of chicken. My son called the store we ordered from, and the people at DP Dough didn't care. They were SO rude... he could hear them laughing in the background, and they insisted that the driver got the order wrong, which is not right. Supposedly, he was talking to a manager, and if that is the case, that is crazy. The order included the receipt of what we ordered - which was correct. They just made everything wrong, and didn't care. Save your money... this place...

I’ve been a big fan of DP Dough ever since there was a vestal location some years ago even going so far as to convince friends to travel to Ithaca to enjoy their food once that location closed.

The new Binghamton location that we ordered delivery from a few times had the same quality that I’d come to expect and didn’t disappoint in taste, variety, or service.

I understand that people may prefer Endzones which is also located in this part of town, but both restaurants are very good at what they do and provide different enough calzones that I’m sure I’ll still be ordering both. Endzones is 100% a local business however if I understand correctly and DP is a small chain restaurant so I feel strongly about supporting our local calzone place more.

Both are good choices from a price, quality, and overall establishment point of view. I’m glad we have our own DP...

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Me and my friends first walked into this establishment and the man does not take our order for 20 minutes until we call his attention, which by then we decided to take an Uber home. We then ordered on grub hub, and our food was only made by the time it was meant to arrive to our home. This worker was taking his sweet time with no consideration about the customers or the driver that was picking up our food (which said was waiting there for 30 minutes when we called him).Overall I’m disappointed by this experience and hope they improve their...
