We enjoy eating the food from Thai Elephant but it is too pricey. That is really my only complaint and my reason for leaving this negative review. We have gotten takeout for dinner twice now and it’s our opinion that the portions are not aligned with the price. The positives are that the food is tasty and ordering online is easy. Our orders have also been accurate both times.

High prices matched with portions consistently on the smaller side has caused us to not return. The noodle dishes (like pad Thai) start at $15 and do not come with any type of meat. If you add chicken beef, you’re up to $17 or $18 and the portion isn’t aligned with that high of a cost. If we were dining in and served a soup or salad in addition to the entree, I would get it but $18 is too high for a small-ish noodle dish leaving you wanting for more.

For example, the food pictured (3 entrees and 1 cup of soup), after tax and tip, was $73.19. I’m sorry but that is just too pricey for small portions of take out.

We hope they lower their prices because it feels a little...

As a part time Geneva resident, the Elephant Geneva is way one of my first stops when I get to town. The new location on Seneca Street is very nicely decorated, fresh and comfortable. The addition of a bar area with seating makes even more options for enjoying a meal.

Our service as always, was well timed and efficient.

We went for lunch yesterday, starting our meal with shareable summer rolls. Yum! My husband chose Green Curry Beef with added heat, just below Thai hot. He ate every bite joyfully. I must have the Won Ton Soup each time enjoy a meal at the Elephant. It is hands down the best Won Ton Soup I’ve ever had! My entree today was a new item for me, Beef Salad (Yum Nua) a delicious blending of marinated beef slices, fresh veggies and a perfect lime vinaigrette. Our meal was completed with a great dessert, Thai donuts, gifted to us by the owner.

I wish I could clone Dao and take her with me to prepare these great meals where ever I go! Thank you for our many delicious meals at the...

Wow what a great little place. Quality ingredients and cooking here. Always great presentations on the food. You can tell these people really care about the experience and the food they make. Unfortunatley it was only take out when i went whoch was still great but I love sitting down at that place and eating. Service and staff are always a charm and like I said before the food is wonderful. What great prices too. For what they make and serve you, you would think youd be paying twice as much as what you do pay. Will be coming back many times for the forseeable future. If your scared to try Thai food, dont be. This place will...

Great food, excellent service, and the cutest tea pot ever! Visited The Elephant Geneva while seeking Thai food in the Seneca Lake region of Finger Lakes. Although the appetizers were a little bland (the chicken satay and the spring rolls lacked flavor), the main course dishes (Traditional Thai basil and Panang Curry with shrimp) were excellent. The sticky mango rice was also very good! Any shortcomings in the appetizers was more than made up by the genuine warmth of the service staff. Would highly recommend and come back again :)
