My Christmas was ruined. Multiple hair in my food!

We ordered brunch via door dasher for Christmas. The reviews are great and really looking forward to a Christmas brunch. After my son took his first bite, he noticed a piece of hair. We wrote it off as one off and joking about of it. When my son noticed another hair, we took the sandwich apart and found 5 pieces of hair. The hair was thin, reddish, curly, and with root.

When we called to complain, I told the person what happened, and I was put on hold for awhile, I hung up and called back. I heard a male voice (Leyden) and I repeated by situation, I heard he spoke to a female voice in the background. After some time, I found out Leyden is not the manager, and the woman is the owner, Ondina.

My dismay is the lack of concern by the owner. when a customer is calling about hairs in the food, it is not important enough to pickup and talk to the customer and let a counter person handle it. I was told she is too busy. Wow. Does this happen so often that it is not important to pickup the call and find out what happened?

The food is okay. On the greasy side. Typical deli food. Nothing special. This whole experience has put Charlie’s in the ”no way Jose “...
