Tava Fine Indian Cuisine — Restaurant in City of Glen Cove

What a pleasant surprise! A local friend suggested TAVA. I haven't even heard about it before. Great, super friendly & welcoming staff. Wish I remembered their names, but met the owners and a lovely waitress who knew everything about the menu (Kathy?).

The food! Wow, what an extensive menu. 15 different breads? $12 lunch specials? I love lamb curry so I got something that was lamb curry and don't remember the fancy name lol

The GOBI MANCHURIAN was interesting: fried cauliflower in a sweet & tangy sauce. I got it because I've never had it before, along with about 70% else of the menu which I look forward to try.

For breads, we got: ALOO PARATHA - bread stuffed with Potatoes ONION KULCHA - A specialty of North India – Nan Bread stuffed with Onion and Spice (I saw onions and I was sold!)

The CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA was great and came out sizzling!

Looking at their menu, it makes me wonder how they can have so many different dishes! Wow.

I had the pleasure of dining at Tava Fine Indian Cuisine and I must say it was an incredible experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and friendly service. The decor was stunning, with beautiful artwork and elegant lighting that created a relaxing atmosphere.

The menu was extensive, with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The food was absolutely delicious and prepared to perfection, with a perfect balance of spices and flavors that left my taste buds tingling with delight. I particularly enjoyed the lamb chops, which was tender and full of flavor.

The staff were knowledgeable about the menu and were happy to recommend dishes based on my preferences. They were attentive and made sure that my dining experience was exceptional. The service was prompt, and the dishes were presented beautifully.

A very special and sincere thank you to Mr. Singh and his staff for their amazing hospitality. A brand is what a business does, reputation is what people remember. To give real service, you must add something which cannot be measured with money and that is sincerity and integrity. The newest addition Tava in Glen Cove and all my prior memories of House of India in Huntington have always made me feel pampered and at home. Time after time each and every member of their staff has made me feel so impressed by the level of respect and great guest service at each of their establishments. Their smile is their logo, their personality is their business card, and how they leave me after an experience is their trademark.
