FIVE STARS + !!! We recently hosted my mom's 60th birthday party here, and wanted it to be a bit extravagant. From the very first day when we met the owners, Rajeev and Rekha, we were blown away by their hospitality! We searched for a few places, but The Metropolitan by far is a unique and beautiful place with a wonderful layout, inside and out, and we immediately booked it. But it didn't end there. Throughout the three months, Rajeev stayed in contact with us assisting us with every single part of the process. We've hosted multiple events in our lives, in many different venues on Long Island, and working with The Metropolitan was a refreshing experience, setting an absolutely new level. They held our hand through the entire process of finding a DJ/MC, Caterer, Decor, and even helped us find a make up artist! Food was PHENOMENAL and the entire staff was also very caring, spoke kindly, and no ask was too big or small, they just handled it! The day off the event, Rajeev and Rehka became a seamless part of the party, checking every detail and assisting us manage the entire event. They and their staff have an amazing ability to make sure every single guest feels welcomed and attended! If you're thinking about going anywhere else, don't. Every bride is nervous about the details of her big day, the loose ends coming together, and the vision of her dream wedding being orchestrated smoothly. From start to finish, our coordinator, Raj could not have been more helpful, encouraging, and knowledgeable. He shared our own enthusiasm in planning our day, was consistent and prompt and went above and beyond our expectations.

The staff was over accommodating and welcoming to all guests. The venue for all of our events were spectacularly designed with elaborate decor specific to our requests. Our needs of a classy yet traditional wedding was not only met but exceeded. The wedding process was made affordable and lighthearted!

We selected a wide variety of food options from several cultures and every guest said the food was sensational. Our guests also loved both the vegetarian and meat selections!

I had the pleasure of hosting my sangeet here in 2024, and it was truly an amazing experience! From booking the venue to organizing and executing the event, everything was handled with such care and consistent communication.

The owner, Raj Uncle ❤️, is absolutely incredible. As a Desi bride, there’s so much to plan and stress about, but he made sure my sangeet was the least of my worries. Any time I had questions or concerns, he was always available — whether it was meeting in person or responding quickly via text. It honestly felt like having a family member helping me plan my wedding event.

The decor he provided was absolutely stunning, and we received so many compliments on how delicious the food was. The staff was exceptional, professional, and respectful throughout the entire evening.
