Peter's Diner — Restaurant in City of Glens Falls

The 1960s called; they said KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, PETER'S DINER!😎 This is EASILY the most authentic, legit, bona-fide classic diner experience I’ve ever had, and I have eaten at a LOT of diners. So glad I was able to locate this place on Google because it was close to where I was traveling and since it opened at 5 AM I was able to have a hearty breakfast and be on the road early. The prices are absolutely phenomenal. You can see in the photos that I have uploaded. The breakfast shown was $13 including a tip of more than 20%. The service was fantastic, it was like your grandmother was making breakfast for you. The portion size maybe isn’t the greatest but when you look at the cost, it’s still an incredible value. You could order double everything and still be cheaper than most other places. My breakfast was prepared fresh and tasted just fantastic. This place is so real that they do not even have artificial sweetener, so I used sugar in my coffee which I never do! There was ample street parking when I was there, but it was super early, so it might be an issue later in the day. I wanted to take more pictures, but didn’t want to disturb the other patrons. An absolute gem of a place. I will definitely be back if I’m in the area again....

This diner is amazing, still has that 60’s diner feel, the prices are perfect !! the owner and chef were so very kind and great at their jobs i was nervous going into a diner ive never been in before but they made me feel so welcomed, i am so happy with my first vist here and there will 100% be many more vists and spreading the word on how underrated this diner is!!

i also ordered to go food to bring home and they wrote on my box a heart and enjoy witch was so sweet, this diner was a great place to start the morning.

my friend got the french toast witch was absolutely delicious. honestly, best french toast ive ever had.

I got home fries, 2 eggs scrambled, bacon, and toast, i have never been to a breakfast diner that actually toasts their toast good and this was perfect, the bacon and eggs was cooked perfectly as well i was very impressed, some of the best bacon i’ve had and the eggs were so fluffy to.

A legitimate real diner with hard-working people behind the counter who know what they’re doing. We all ordered the super senior special, which is two eggs, any style bacon, ham sausage and home fries for under 10 bucks ,are you kidding me? There were five of us for breakfast that were visiting from Maine and when we walked out and we’re getting our motorcycle gear on and the person that cooked and waited on us came out of the diner and wished us a good day and to be safe on our bikes, never had that happen before, you can go in there and get a complete dinner for under $10. How crazy is that , and to see the locals come in and greet each other like they were old friends was heartwarming and only added to the authenticity.
