Like all kids places... quality tends to die.... fast! First time I was here with my 3 kids and it was fabulous. The newer facility was definitely worth the drive for us (as we have an older CEC near our house). They have newer games and vibrant atmosphere. Now... after a few months (not even a year) their games are left with more annoyance than awe. My youngest is 3 and loves their basketball game plus other toddler games. This time around... there's only 1 ball (not 3) at the basketball game. The air hockey was missing the puck and when I asked the staff about it she just laughed it off and said "yea someone keeps taking it" and doesn't even bother to ask to reimburse my credit. The cute ball drops were missing a ton of balls to play too..... other games where it looks functional wasnt. It gave out an error message or ends up being stuck somehow. Again too bothersome to find a staff and ask for the credit back. If the place keeps going in this trajectory, it will go back to the same "old" CEC that I dredded to go with my kids years ago. My suggestion is to make sure to have "extra" game stuff around like extra basketball, extra air hockey puck, extra ring toss, etc. Things that can be replaced should be replaced immediately. They charge you around 800 tickets for a simple bouncy ball where you can get it from the dollar store but yet they cant replace the game basketballs that almost most toddler plays with?...... that just poor management to me. Little things like sanitizing the facility, kids jumping/slide area, are all essential to keeping the place new and not broken looking (which is what most people remembers when they...
Read moreI threw my daughter’s birthday party here and it was incredible! I have never been a party planner and I was a little overwhelmed about the thought of trying to be one. But they simplify the process and their helpful staff made it super stress free.
They set everything up for you and they assign you a host to help you through out the party. Allison was our host and was very friendly and made sure that we were always taken care of, even when she was on break. If she wasn’t available, there were so many staff members there that were happy to assist and were very friendly. It was a very busy Saturday, but we’re still very attentive and helped as fast as they could. Only complaint is that reservations are two hours, but they’re back to back with other reservations. So you won’t get your table until they clean up the prior reservation, which may take about 15 mins, and you have to leave the table 15 mins prior to the end so they can set up for the never reservation. But I understand that is protocol and beyond the employee’s control. They helped clean and move our party to other normal tables before our reservation ended so that was really nice.
Overall, I had such a wonderful experience and am super grateful for Allison’s help. I paid a little under 800 (not including her tip) for a party of 13 kids with the ultimate package, 4 addition xl pizzas for the adults, a big platter of wings, and drinks for the adults- which I thought was very reasonable for the amount of perks the birthday girl and her guests got. We even got a free bronze pass for...

April 15 I had hosted a party at this location not only was everything a mess but the service was horrible. We had ordered food that took over 45 minutes to prepare. When we finally got the food it was like 30 minutes till closing. Offering us To-Go boxes to come with the food. We complained to management and they had gave us a coupon to come back at a later date.
April 20th (Easter) me and my family decide to go back to redeem the coupon that was given. We were greeted with attitude and unprofessionalism. We had a Female Worker (in the children's play area) giving nasty attitude to the kids. When confronted she had no fault in her actions. I understand working around children for long periods of time can be tedious. However the attitude towards guests & children is unacceptable. THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR THAT TYPE OF ATTITUDE IN A KID FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT. The cherry on top was as we got closer to the night we had PAID FOR GAMES for them to be shut off WHILE IN THE PROCESS OF PLAYING! RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL.
If you are considering on doing a Birthday Party at a Chuck E Cheese know there are way better locations then this one on Colima. Do not be deceived on the grand opening signs, they have very little games compared to others. Workers are rude disrespectful and distasteful. There time management & management together is a joke.
Do not waste your money on a location or business where they are not going to value...
