Tried this place out for breakfast with my little sister from BBBS. We like to try places we have never been.

The wait for two wasn’t long to be seated. There was a steady flow of people waiting to get tables. Once seated we were handed menus and waited for a bit to get a server. We ordered drinks (OJ /tea($3.60/$3.00) and I had to ask for water which others had. So the menu didn't have a-lot of items together. We ordered the french toast ($15.60) added side egg($3.60)and sausage($6),biscuits and gravy($14.60)which included the egg(but it wasn’t two biscuits as I was told initially by waiter) and cherry danish ($6)to go. Placed our order about 10 mins after being seated. Waited about 20-25 for actual food. Once we had the food no one came to check back if everything was ok and did we need togo containers. I stopped an employee to ask about a container and how or where do we pay? It was a bit confusing whether a bill will come to table or do we pay at counter. Again we were new and hadn't dined there before today.

I am glad the space was filled in with the restaurant to support the Dewitt mall, but $64.00 for breakfast including tax and tips, is a lot. It would have been a little better if at least one side was included with the French toast for the cost.

Also the food...

A few months ago I stumbled across this place while shopping and if I hadn’t had a meal just before I would have stopped. I got the chance to come back a week later and since then my brother and I have made it a ritual to come by monthly because it is so good. We live out of town so it is very much worth our commute. The staff is all so friendly and the menu is always full of delicious specials, breakfast, and lunch items. The hardest part is picking what you want to eat since everything is DELICIOUS. I am such a huge fan of this place and it is such a gem to be here in Ithaca. They also have an incredible fish tank along their booth seating that adds to the ambiance. Very happy to have found this place. I have only stopped by for breakfast so far, I’d love to try their lunch menu as it also sounds delectable. Thank you,...

If you are visiting Ithaca or are looking for a new place to go, stop here! While you wait for seating you can look at the menu or the specials written on the board. Be sure to check their Instagram to see what is new too! The waiters were quick and accommodating. My husband and I do not eat meat and they were quick to make some suggestions for us as an alternative. You can see the chefs making the food in the back as you wait too! The food came out quickly and was fantastic. Their herbed mayo and jam were incredible- even the scrambled eggs alone were scrumptious. The desert was also amazing- we had a strawberry buttercream cake. The piece was huge! The taste was sweet but not overpowering. I could have eaten the buttercream by itself it was so good. Support the local business when you visit! We cannot...

I ate here based on Google reviews. I was not impressed. When I arrived at 9:30 am it was not busy but the service was very slow. My server was inattentive and didn’t express any interest in my wellbeing. My food was delivered so slowly that I had to rush to eat and then hustled to the register to pay because I knew that my one-hour parking meter was nearly expired. I was parked less than five minutes from the cafe, so you can see it took me 50 minutes to get my meal, pay and rush to my vehicle. I had three minutes spare. Google directions are inadequate. The photo shows there is no signage only for the cafe. When you go through the entrance you need to take the stairs down and then walk ahead. There is a funny smell in the lower level where the cafe is.

This place is AMAZING! Aside from the fact that you most probably have to wait for a long time during weekends, it's perfect. The atmosphere is pleasant; crowdy yet cozy. The staffs are very friendly and polite. And of course, the food--- It's so tasty! As expected of a local restaurant working hard to use local products as much as they can. The cranberry sauce I had that day was the most delicious one I have ever had, really! Also, the price is reasonable. I spent 21 USD for the omelette, hot chocolate, and tip. It was absolutely worth it. Money well-spent. This is a kind of restaurant that is capable of warming your heart and makes you want to revisit until you become a regular customer.

Had a delicious brunch with friends on a Sunday morning. Staff was fantastic and attentive. Food was excellent and fast. We had a group six and everything was spot on! I ordered the pecan waffle special. This waffle was wonderful...made with browned butter, topped with chantilly cream, toasted pecans, and drizzled with maple syrup! Yummy! Featured in the photos are items that our table ordered: Waffle Special, Eggs Benedict, and the Omelet Special. Will definitely return! What a gem. FYI - cash or check only.
