Always welcoming and honest if a bit... cocky or maybe... vanity is a bit of a thing but we're talking about guitar players so maybe the drummer here should shut up and just enjoy the honest rapport and swiftness with which business is conducted. Personal thing I guess, but that's not to be accounted for except on here and Yelp and literally everywhere else personal feelings are empirical fact. Recommend their services and if not their price points slcertai ly keep an eye out for deals and sales as well as there being a regular donation alcove that's ever in various state of filment.

So there nothing but a personal thing that rubs me wrong and nothing more so this should be fine out of five but for the price points being a bit fantastical maybe...

I've always shopped at this place. Really nice group of guys, two brothers and their uncle, I believe. Nevertheless, if you keep buying gear, the guys give away a free shirt and show you they actually about their business with you. I also had a problem with my guitar once, brought it down, and one of the staff fixed it the issue WITH NO COST!!! I bought gear so they can get their money's worth in some way. Great guitars and gear, and these guys do care about the local music scene here in Ithaca. They'll help you on achieving your goals and the sound you're after. After 12 years of playing the same acoustic guitar, it felt a little...off... in ways I couldn't put my finger on. Didn't seem to ring the way it used to and the action was higher than I remembered. I almost bought a new guitar, but then decided to take it in for a set-up instead. The folks at IGW did a really nice job making it look, play, and sound like new. They found some little issues I never would have noticed that were impacting the tone and the action - and put the magic back in it. The joy of playing is back. I got really nice detailed notes from the guitar tech and the cost was super reasonable.
