Fusia Bento Bar — Restaurant in City of Ithaca

Bento boxes are one of my favorite and I was looking forward to try at Fusia. I placed an order for pickup and when it came to the food itself, I wasn’t disappointed. The bento box was well-prepared, tasty and definitely hit the spot. Unfortunately, the customer service experience left alot to be desired. When I walked in to pick up my order, I greeted the staff and asked how she was doing - something I consider just common courtesy. I didn’t get a response which I initially shrugged off. When I gave my phone number/name and was told my order wasn’t there. I calmly pointed out that there was a bag on the counter with my name/number on it. That seemed to triggered a negative reaction and instead of resolving it calmly, she wave me off dismissively with a hand gesture - like I was nothing. I rarely write negative reviews and I usually give places a second or even third chance but this was one of most disrespectful customer service experiences I’ve had. Everyone has off days and I understand that. But there is a basic level of respect that should be shown in any interaction. The fish was tender and well-seasoned, the pork had just the right balance of crispiness and juiciness, and the sweet and sour soup tied it all together with a comforting, tangy kick.

Beyond the food, the service was fast and friendly, making it a great choice if you’re in a rush but still want a solid meal. The space itself is clean and welcoming, perfect for a quick lunch or a casual hangout.

This restaurant is a culinary paradise. The moment I entered, I was struck by the beautiful decor and the inviting aroma of delicious food. The menu is a masterpiece of creativity and variety. I started with the shrimp cocktail, which was fresh and succulent. The main course, a roast beef, was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy.
