Hi. I had an absolutely terrible experience at this Longbeach McDonald's on my last visit. As a result I'll never visit this specific location or an other McDonald's as long as I live. The woman Manager was entirely responsible for my horrific experience. I'd be distressed now to fully explain my treatment. I've been patronizing this location about about 8 years now as the primary security enjoying lunch assupervisor in the nearby Stop and Shop mall at 85 East Park Avenue where i work and are normally happy with the treatment by the delightful staff. Always a smile for me. I have the eating/dietary requirements that are always understood here throughout the many years of my patronage. In short, I cant eat any seeds not even one. On this unusual occasion, I had ordered my usual lunch which was compromised of a Quarter pounder with cheese and extra onions. Large Coke, extra ice. I didn't check my order as I pulled out so I found a Quarter pound with no Bunn on a piece of cardboard container. This container and no fries that I had ordered. Quite the inedible lunch. I parked my car to explain the mistake and received again the same thing. No bun and no fries again. I went inside again for the third time and finally got my sandwich but no extra onions. I pulled my vehicle up into the waiting area and with a big smile attempted to set the issue right. Being a very polite professional gentleman, However.. I hate being called a liar or having it inferred about me. But upon my reentry the unsmiling. Woman Manager started to very loudly indicate that to the staff and customers inside the McDonald's, that I was giving her a hard time about not wanting to pull my car up into the take out waiting area.(why why the hell would that be any problem whatsoever??, I was happy and smiling. And I had presented absolutely no issues to anyone. But as i reentered she had loudly started to describe to staff and customers my personal lunch mistake. This brought forward a courous of embarrassing laughter from the dine in patrons which was directed at myself. Which I found to be really embarrassing. I will now move to call the manager lady "a liar in every way. I'm well aware of the pull up procedure connected with receiving a special order, and have no reasons at all to give Anyone a hard time l. I would have liked to get my lunch prepared properly the first time. But I've never presented anyone with issues connected with this procedure. Don't loudly indicate that I am doing so. So that so believe it. There were never any smiles or apologies concerning this small disconnect from the Manager. And as a result, I will NEVER patronize this Macdonalds ever again in my life with friends, clients or family or any other Mcdonalds at any time ever for that matter. I will maintain that the woman Manager is a liar and loudly exclaimed her lies for possible racial reasons. As a note I'm involved also involved in a biracial marriage. Therefore I find this disgusting incident and event especially awful. Don't offer me a burger or any other compensation as result of this treatment. The woman remains a purposeful liar. And to avoid seeing her ever again, I'll avoid ever returning here.And.. I'll tell all my business associates of this incident for my lifetime. I remain your FORMER customer, and will never return to any McDonald's ever. In the world. Please examine your cameras to illuminate the truth.
Thanks to the liar lady. I'll never see or visit with you folks again. Happy?? Former customer James Dippel Jamesdippel77@...
Read moreMany many years ago, in better times, I wrote the following review, which I must now correct. "Hey, even though this is probably the worst McDonald's on Long Island--with the exception of the one on Merrick Road in Freeport and their "with or without pubic hair option on the Kid's Menu"--the McDonald's in Long Beach has one thing going for it: employee's at the Drive-Thru who are willing to do some pretty unusual things in exchange for Food Stamps, and let's just say that I got "plenty of sauce" for MY nuggets." Yes, things were different then, and the McDonald's Corporation cared more deeply about who they permitted to own and operate a Temple of the Golden Arches. Not anymore. I mean, the Long Beach Mc'D's still provides the most consistently explosive "pant's refund" of any fast food venue, but the level of service, accuracy, and speed of their employees has gone straight into the toilet...the same place their digestible-plastic "milkshakes" usually end up. According to local folklore, the problem is a mysterious ownership/management group intent on turning Ronald McDonald into a slumlord. Greedy, disinterested in the quality and cleanliness of his staff, and apparently finding humor in serving still-frozen fries and intentionally clogging toilets, this third-rate Daddy Warbucks should be consigned to the same jail where they keep the Hamburgler and that "Secret Sauce" character from Hardee's who hurt all those boy scouts back...
Read moreLong beach NY is a beautiful place to live, it doesn't deserve this kind treatment to it's community. McDonald's upper management, is time to take notice on this issue. Wendy's at Austin Blvd doesn't treat people like rats, they serve with quality and professionalism. Where to start: At night there's this chubby African American girl that looks like Lizzo the artist and this tall skinny man who both deserve to be working as parking lots cleanners, also in the morning there's a bold African American short man who's supposedly the manager but talk to you with no manners at all. Once you get into offence by demanding your rights as a customer or delivery driver they feel offended and threat on you by calling the cops if you don't leave the location. I mean, Excuse me! What happened to the quote "The customer is always right"? I guess it doesn't apply anymore. Bottom line, the skinny African American female manager at night is the only one doing her job besides the kitchen ladies, the kitchen ladies help you more than those Three unprofessional individuals I mentioned above. You're treated bad and disrespected as a delivery driver or a customer. Is time for a deep investigation in this location McDonald's. Living in Long Beach New York is not cheap, people spend lost of money in this place and the least they expect is a decent customer service...
